I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after today I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with Camping World and the level of workmanship and safety concerns I encountered.
About two years ago, I brought my camper into Camping World for multiple warranty repairs and paid services. Unfortunately, a large portion of the punch list items were never completed properly. I also paid approximately $600 for a roof sealing service, and the roof was not even washed prior to sealing. Permanent footprints were sealed into the roof membrane. While mistakes can happen, what I discovered today is far more concerning.
One of the warranty issues involved the camper’s belly pan coming loose and damaging wiring underneath. Camping World performed the repair, and I dealt directly with Brett Bender during the process. When I picked the camper up afterward, my truck immediately displayed a “Trailer Wiring Fault” warning. I brought this to their attention, but I was assured everything was fine and told it must be an issue with my truck. I was also told it would be around two months before they could even look at it again, at which point my warranty would likely be expired.
Since I was not towing the camper often, I unfortunately let the issue go for a while. Today, after discovering I had no trailer brakes and a brake circuit short, I opened the belly pan myself to investigate.
What I found was extremely alarming. The repair technician had made splices to the trailer brake wiring and installed a jumper directly between the positive and negative brake wires. This effectively caused the brake failure and short circuit issue. I cannot understand how this could happen during a professional repair, especially on a safety-critical system like trailer brakes.
The lack of accountability, concern for customer safety, and quality control is deeply disappointing. This was not just an inconvenience — it created a serious safety hazard for me, my family, and everyone else on the road.
For the amount customers pay for RV service and repair work, there should be an expectation of qualified workmanship and proper inspection procedures. Unfortunately, my experience felt more like production speed was prioritized over safety and quality.
I strongly encourage anyone using this dealership for service work to thoroughly inspect repairs before leaving and verify all safety systems independently.

Sales people should be helping you, but the fact is they are only out for themselves. Camping world exemplifies this and does not respect customers space to make decisions. Pressure is how they survive, coercion disguised as honesty is the game. I have cash in hand and they won’t even give me time to consider what I want. Every push is just a few dollars more lol, circus act for sure. Congrats on successful predation of customers to grow a business

I had a very disappointing experience at Camping World.
I walked in specifically to look at Class B motorhomes and was immediately asked for my driver’s license at the front desk. I provided it without issue, expecting to be able to browse inventory. Instead, when a salesperson came out, he insisted on taking me to his office to go over their “process.”
I clearly explained multiple times that I was not interested in sitting down or going through a sales pitch—I simply wanted to look at the Class B units first. Despite that, he refused to show me any motorhomes unless I agreed to sit through his presentation.
When I declined again, I was essentially dismissed and allowed to walk out without ever being shown a single unit.
This is not customer service—it’s a rigid, high-pressure sales approach that ignores what the customer is actually asking for. There was no flexibility, no willingness to listen, and no respect for my time.
For a purchase in the $100,000–$150,000 range, I expect to at least be treated with basic courtesy and allowed to view the product before being pushed into a sales process.
I came in ready to seriously consider buying. I left knowing I will not return.

Tyler showed us the camper we were initially interested in. We wanted to see what else was available and he knocked it out of the park. Picked out exactly what we were wanting in a camper on the first option. He was very professional and comfortable to work with. He did not push or pressure us to make any kind of sale. Tiffany did our finance documents and made the process an absolute breeze. She explained everything specifically and made a very professional yet personable experience. We are glad we picked Camping World to purchase our first camper. Thanks Camping World!
