  My experience with Alamo was amazing, very friendly, very efficient, and no hassle. Highly recommend Alamo if you are needing a rental. Our Jeep was awesome!!

  I loved having the ability to pick out of several cars at the RSW location. The car was clean, smelled good and it was a nice driving experience. Staff was very nice and professional as well

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely wonderful experience with Alamo in Fort Myers! After having an extremely unpleasant experience with another rental car company nearby, where employees were being disrespectful and raising their voices in front of customers, I decided to take my business elsewhere—and I’m so glad I chose Alamo. From the moment I walked in, the difference in customer service was night and day. The employees were respectful, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Reggie assisted me and was an absolute sweetheart! He was patient, kind, professional, and genuinely helpful in getting everything taken care of smoothly. What started as a frustrating rental experience completely turned around because of Reggie and the Alamo team. This is exactly how customers should be treated. I’ll happily choose Alamo again in the future. Thank you, Reggie! ⭐️

  I frequently rent vehicles for work and leisure trips and have rented with Alamo many times without issue. Today, we arrived in Fort Myers for a surprise birthday trip my husband planned and were told there were no convertibles left after reserving one weeks prior. The whole point of booking the convertible was to enjoy the top off at the beach and I'm dumbfounded that you'll take the reservation for a convertible but not make sure one is actually reserved for us when we arrive. What is the point of a reservation then? I gave two stars because the attendant outside was somewhat helpful and tried to find one for us and was unsuccessful so his solution was a jeep we could take. He did eventually offer a free upgrade after I asked, but it was a minivan. We left with a jeep as the closest option we could get to our actual reservation but I am not sure I would ever book with Alamo again after this. How disappointing. Edit: The comment from management asked me to reach out to customer service about my experience. That was an exercise in futility. I did so, but just to be told they still don't have any convertibles and sorry. Again, I stand with my original statement. Disappointing at best.

  Yesterday I had the worst experience with this company. I rented my car online, but when I arrived at the airport to pick it up, the agent on duty—a dark-skinned man over 45—treated me absolutely terribly; he was rude and disrespectful, telling me, "There's nothing I can do, so get out of my sight." 🤦‍♂️😖😔 I have proof—I recorded everything with my smart glasses. After an exhausting four-hour flight and just wanting to get home, I ended up with no car and no one taking responsibility for my money; I had to take an Uber. It was the absolute worst—I will never rent from them again.
