- FFFloridas FinestAug 19, 20261.0I bought this cheap squeegee scrubber , I scrub two truck windows, then go to Squeegee it off and the thing breaks into a bunch of pieces, I try to go take it back to exchange it the very next day and explain to the kid exactly how it broke , kid that claims to be the manager takes forever to find it in the computer , then just stares at the computer confused, I say did ya find it , he says yea , what are you trying to do ? so again I tell him I would like to exchange it and try another one and if it breaks I wanna bring it back and just get a refund , he says there are non in stock , then I ask if I can exchange it when they are in stock again , Now he starts telling me that he can’t exchange it because it can’t be warrantied because it’s not a warranty item , really petty to screw someone on such a cheap item that was truly defective and brought back within 24hrs to exchange not return , like really look at the thing still looking brand new and clean , I will never go to this advance auto again and I will use auto zone , Walmart or Amazon for now on because I know Walmart and Amazon for sure would not have treated me so unfairly like this , My experience here was 08/18/2026 6pm - 9pm

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
