  “I had made my reservation almost six months in advance, and when I arrived today, my reserved car was unfortunately not available. While that was disappointing, Jesse completely turned the experience around. He was extremely professional, kind, and genuinely helpful in resolving the situation quickly. He took the time to make sure everything was handled properly and made what could have been a very frustrating experience much easier. Excellent customer service like this deserves recognition.   Huge shoutout to the team at Sixt at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport — especially Norman! After my flight arrived late, Norman went above and beyond to make the rental process smooth, stress-free, and welcoming. He was incredibly kind and even surprised me with an upgrade from a VW to a BMW, which made my birthday vacation in South Florida that much more memorable. Exceptional customer service like this is rare these days. Thank you again, Norman, for starting my trip off on such a great note. Highly recommend Sixt FLL!

  I would love to give a great rating to this car rental location. When I arrived, there was not a long line, and the gentlemen working that day were very professional. The young man helping me noticed I was traveling with my daughter and her three young children including a set of 2-year-old twins and their older brother. He kindly offered us a free upgrade at no extra charge, which made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. We were very happy and were in and out quickly and into our SUV. He was extremely professional, courteous, and very kind. I only wish I knew his name so I could personally recognize him. This was at the Fort Lauderdale Airport location on April 30, 2026.

  Sixt is 2 for 2 with negative experiences and has lost my business for good. Most recently, I was traveling with my 3-year-old and experienced significant airline delays, including sitting on a taxiway for over 2.5 hours. Knowing we would arrive after closing, I proactively called Sixt customer service while still on the plane to try to make arrangements. I also attempted to contact the FLL desk directly, only to be routed to a generic call center. The response? Essentially: “Good luck, there’s nothing we can do.” No solutions. No flexibility. No accountability. We ultimately arrived at FLL around 2:30am to a closed counter and zero support from Sixt. Had I not packed my own car seat, I would have been stranded at the airport in the middle of the night with a toddler and no safe way to leave. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s utterly unacceptable. To make matters worse, I booked through Expedia, and their customer service was the complete opposite: responsive, empathetic, and actually trying to help. The contrast between Expedia and Sixt was stark. This wasn’t a one-off issue, this is now two rentals, two bad experiences. Sixt’s lack of after-hours support, poor communication, and complete indifference to customer situations (even involving young children) has lost my business for good. If you’re traveling through FLL, especially with family, do yourself a favor and rent from a company that actually supports its customers when things don’t go perfectly.

  Best price around, quick service at the counter at the airport (FLL), excellent customer service, never a pressure to add additional insurance or other options to your reservation and wide range of vehicle available on site.. if car type reserved is no longer available, it's an automatic upgrade to another car similar to that was reserved, not like at the other rentals companies ( AVIS, BUDGET and THRIFTY ) that have you wait, sometimes up to 45 minutes, while one of your car type is being washed/cleaned because it was just returned by another customer... SIXT is my go-to rent-a-car.. Try them, you will not regret it.. We found them by accident while surfing the internet, and we are hooked on to them for the past 3 years ..
