I’ve had an excellent experience with the SIXT team at Fort Lauderdale Airport. Juan, the manager, has been incredibly helpful, professional, and always makes sure customers are taken care of. Sisi and Jesse at the counter are both extremely kind, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Jeff at the gate is also fantastic—always welcoming, helpful, and looking out for the customer. I rent from SIXT frequently, and having a team like this makes a huge difference. They consistently provide great service and make the entire rental experience easy and enjoyable. Really appreciate all of them and the way they treat their customers!

We have been loyal clients of Sixt for over +8 years both in the Americas and Europe and we have gotten the worst experience out of the FLL Airport branch. I’m giving two starts because you can tell the rest of the team and staff are there to help you but JUAN, the branch manager is absolutely the worst. I’m not a fan of giving reviews but I’m extremely disappointed with his service, manners and even the way you can see he treats the rest of his staff. The situation was the following. We dropped off a car on Aug 7 and accidentally left a keyfob to our apartment on the car keychain. Once we noticed, less than two hours later, we did the “lost and found” ticket and went back to the airport to chat with the staff with the hope that the car was still there. The team did their best to help us but for our terrible luck, we ended up needing to chat with the branch manager, Juan. Juan acted as if we were interrupting a lifesaving surgery procedure when one of his staff asked him to help us and he acted horrible. Told us there was nothing he could do, they didn’t find the fob that day but that there was a chance they didn’t see it because it was tiny and on the actual car. He told us that the car was already rented again, and that it was coming back until Aug 29th and that we were lucky it was coming back to FLL airport again. We questioned it because that was a loooong time for a rental but he said it’s common, come back on the 29th if you want. Ok got it, we did. I called customer service today, gave them the TLDR and came to the airport. Weather has been horrible today in FLL and the internet was down. I was super patient and nice because I can see that the staff is doing their best to help their customers as promptly as possible given the situation. I’m able to speak with Juan, he again has a horrible attitude but hey, I give him grace because I understand that they’re busy. Well, at least his staff is, he’s acting busy. I wait for over an hour after I spoke with him and he acts like he has no way to check for the car and whether it was back or at what time it was coming back. He insists and continues to tell me that there is no way for him to check and that they’re doing everything manual – Cool, no worries. Well, after 1.5h waiting, someone else comes to help me and I explain the situation again. I just needed to have someone make a note that the car doesn’t leave again with our keyfob. Because, if they didn’t find the keyfob that day and the car was under the same rental until today, it should be there, right? Well: wrong, after I was helped by this other amazing human, I find out that: 1. Juan had in fact a way to check for the car since I came but simply decided to let me waiting in the hopes that I would just leave, I’m sure. 2. The car had been rented multiple times since we returned it. So, giving us the Aug 29th date was in fact incorrect and he knew it. 3. In my personal opinion, Juan is not suited to hold a branch manager role due to the lack of people skills as well as proactiveness and problem-solving mentality. I witnessed two other staff team members have better-suited skills and actitudes for the role so please reconsider who’s overseeing the branch. Again, today’s behavior was exactly the same as it was on Aug 7th; unwilling to help a customer, who is again very loyal to the brand. Juan simply provides horrible service and I’ve witnessed it being rude to his own staff as well (Again, I’ve spend sufficient time waiting around). I understand that leaving an item behind is our mistake, however, should Juan had a better customer service, he would have been more proactive and helpful, as we were pretty quick on reporting and asking for help. Again, the two star is salvaging that the rest of the team tried helping us but got unlucky on Aug 7 and were given wrong information by Juan.

Elijah was very helpful! I had booked a rental with thrifty through Expedia for my trip. When I arrived at the airport thrifty didn't have the actual vehicle. They only had one type of electric car that wasn't even a Tesla on hand. So we canceled with them and went next door to SIXT. We explained our situation to Elijah and he checked to see if they had the same Jeep that we had wanted to get from thrifty. He said it looked like they had it in stock but he had to check with his manager when he came back he said that unfortunately the Jeep was in the shop but they could give us a BMW 4 series convertible for the same price as the Jeep. It was awesome! They had us on the road very quickly and the whole process was smooth even the return. You just pull up and someone's there to help you get your luggage out. Check the car real quick and take the keys. It was probably faster than parking it myself somewhere. I will be using SIXT for all of my vehicle rental needs from now on and I highly recommend it to anyone else in need of a rental.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience with SIXT in Miami! This was honestly one of the smoothest car rental experiences I’ve ever had. I rented a 2024 Toyota Camry for my Miami vacation, and the car was excellent — very clean, comfortable, modern, and in great condition. What impressed me even more was the price. I got a really good deal compared to what I expected in Miami, and the entire rental process was quick and easy. Returning the car was just as impressive — super simple, fast, and completely hassle-free. No unnecessary waiting or complications. Everything went smoothly from pickup to return. SIXT made my vacation much more comfortable and enjoyable. Great car, great price, easy process, and excellent overall experience. I will definitely rent from SIXT again on my next trip and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable rental car in Miami. 10/10 experience! Thank you, SIXT! 🚗🌴☀️

I was given a car with a front tire inner edge completely worn out and with wires showing that went completely flat after 2.5hr into our journey. The manager at the Fort Lauderdale airport location, Juan, believed and argued that it was save to drive it for my 9hours journey to Georgia. What an irresponsible person to have as a manager! This roadtrip to Dahlonega, Georgia (9hrs drive) was not only a birthday gift for my girlfriend, but also a way to “distract” her from the 1 year anniversary of both parents, who passed away within weeks apart. They passed away in the month of July, same month as my girlfriend’s birthday. I picked up the car at 10ish pm, so we could drive during the night, to completely avoid traffic. That was the whole idea. We started driving at midnight, and just 2.5 hour into our journey, ( 1hr south from Orlando) I get a warning sign on the screen “Tire pressure lost, right front. Stop carefully “. So, as I slowed down and started to pull over to the side, the tire went completely flat. I tried to slide my hand over the surface of the tire to feel for a nail or screw that could have caused this flat tire and when I was passing my hand on the inside of the tire (the side that is not visible) I pinched my finger with a bunch of wires that were coming out of the tire and that is when I discover that the entire inside the thread was gone, and wires from the tire were exposed along the whole perimeter. How can your inspection before releasing a car to a client, miss this completely?? And before my car was given, I asked the agent if we were supposed to walk together to the car to inspect it. He said, “no, all our vehicle are inspected before they go out to the road” so I, obviously, trusted him. Your negligence put my life and her life at risk, not just for driving with the worn out tire, but also because of the area we were left stranded, which was on the side of a major highway, I-95, and with cars and trucks flying by in a pitched black area. When I call the number for roadside assistance given at the Fort Lauderdale airport location, the guy told me to get the spare tire and the repair kit. None of those were inside the car. The only solution he gave me was to tow the car to the nearest gas station or to wait until 5am, until the Sixt located at Orlando airport (1hr ish away) was open so they can send a replacement car. When I call for a tow track, I was told that it would take between 1.5-3 hours to get to me and the Road Range assistance don’t operate until 6am. So I was left on the side of the highway for hours. I waited for the Orlando location to open, but then I was told that it would take another 1-1/2 to 2 hours until I get the vehicle. So, 4-1/2 hours later, the vehicle arrives. The guy who brought the replacement car, told me that, the screen was acting up with warning signs that made it look like a “Christmas Tree” but that I “shouldn’t mind about them and just ignore them by pressing the Cancel button” So, I was given a car with a busted tire and the replacement car came with a bunch of warning signs that I shouldn’t pay attention to?? Doesn’t sound like a serious company. By the time we finally hit the road, by 7ish am, there was a lot more traffic, the one I was trying to AVOID, and then got worse when we entered Georgia. I was beyond furious and helpless. What it was SUPPOSED to be a 9hr drive through the night, to AVOID traffic, ended up being an 18hr nightmare with a busted tire and hitting terrible traffic. Completely ruined this surprise birthday gift for my girlfriend. We ended up arriving close to 7pm instead of 9am, and we lost a full day. At the end of the trip, when I went to return the vehicle I asked to speak to a manager to explain my experience, but this guy was arrogant and didn’t even look to my eyes when I was talking to him and explaining. He kept saying that “these tires are designed to run flat” even after showing him the pictures and videos of the completely flat tire and totally worn out on the inner edge.
