The guy on the register, who was closes to the door today, acted like I was interrupting his Call of Duty Mobile game match when I asked if he could look at my account. When I told him that I’m not sure if I bought it at this particular store or another Advance Auto Parts, he then asked me, “Do you know or do you think?” And to myself, I was wondering, “What kind of question is this and what kind of customer service is being provided here?” I think the cameras need to be looked at, and the employee should be disciplined for his actions. But hey, it’s just a review, and I’m just a paying customer.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
