My car only has 40,000 original miles on it. I’m the only Owner and today my car stalled. So since I have the warranty, I went back to advance auto parts with the intention of just having them make sure that the battery cables were tightened down and it was getting the right amps and then also to see if they could check my alternator. I walked into the store once again, Jose was behind the counter. He asked how can I help? I replied a few weeks ago I purchased a battery. He wouldn’t let me continue speaking. He said oh yeah I remember you. You have to wait so I said OK. I said I saw the younger gentleman out there helping someone with the car. I’ll wait. Then he proceeds to say OK, what car do you have we walk out together. I walk him to my vehicle and he said yeah I remember you you’re the one who made a complaint against me. And I said yeah actually I did. It’s because of your attitude I said even today I walked into the store you asked what you could help me with and then you just cut me off and wouldn’t let me speak. And then he said oh you wanna speak go ahead and speak I said actually I don’t want you to help me with my car. I will wait for the other person to come help me with my car so you can walk away from my car right now. This is the craziest thing that someone who treats customers like this still has employment at your location. I didn’t walk in there and say I remember you you’re the guy who was rude and dismissed me and didn’t wanna put my battery and told me I had to come back Later. And mind you when I had that experience the next shift told me he didn’t wanna help you because he doesn’t like installing batteries. So now I actually have a problem with the store. I regret buying a battery from this location and I will never return and anyone who ask for any recommendations I’m goning to send them down the street to AutoZone because the guy at AutoZone was so helpful. Actually talked about Hondas and was super friendly and super helpful and I never felt like I inconvenienced him when I made a purchase with them before. On the flipside of that Adan Was absolutely amazing, very helpful checked my battery my alternator helped me check for codes and even recommended me checking other fluids. He was super helpful. Polite understood that I was there because I had a problem with my car. I absolutely hate to give a one star review, knowing that you do have good employees there. He gets 5 Stars!!! So if you do read this review and take it seriously, please make sure that he knows he’s doing a great job and If the other employee would treat people like he did, you’d have repeat business and you’d have less negative reviews.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
