I normally do not post complaints publicly, but after multiple attempts to resolve this privately with Take 5 Car Wash, I feel consumers should be aware of my experience.
An employee directed my vehicle during the wash process, and immediately afterward my tire sidewall was sliced/blown out, resulting in a $519 replacement bill from Toyota.
I filed a claim promptly and provided the details. The response I received stated there were “no mechanical issues” with the wash equipment that day. However, my claim was based on employee direction/error — not mechanical malfunction.
I have attempted multiple follow-ups through customer service, escalation requests, and a Better Business Bureau complaint, but I have yet to receive meaningful resolution.
I am simply asking to be reimbursed for damage that occurred while under employee guidance on their property.
I hope Take 5 Car Wash chooses to review this fairly and resolve it appropriately.
Melanie was great and added more cleaner and water to the bins that you can use to scrub the love bugs off your car, it was bone dry and she took care of it. Great customer service

Great and quality wash, the only place near me with the full size brush outside so you can pre-scrub the hard to get bugs off. Alex was hustling around the property helping customers at the payment center and keeping the lot clean of trash. He answered a few questions with a great attitude and really cares about the customer experience. He is an asset !

My vehicle was damaged during a recent visit to this car wash. A trim piece was bent and pulled away from the body, which was not an issue prior to entering the wash.
Despite reporting it promptly, the company denied responsibility without reviewing footage or providing a reasonable explanation. The damage is clearly consistent with mechanical contact from the wash equipment.
I am requesting immediate escalation, including review of camera footage and involvement of your insurance carrier. I expect a proper resolution and will update this review accordingly.
After almost 2 years of washing here I cancelled my membership. Use to be great but have gone down hill for the following reasons:
- management are a bunch of young people
- the older African American lady directing the vehicle at the wash has a major attitude.
- no one there understands that customers pays their checks and without treating customers NICELY they will not have a paycheck!!!
- the final brush for drying the top of the vehicles stopped working within a few months of opening and remained NOT WORKING
Car washes are opening left and right in the area, you are not the only option and I don’t have to wash here. YOUR LOSS!!!!
