  SCAMMERS! DO NOT GO THERE. Went the on Monday 18th 2026 for a simple oil change. They told me to pick up my car 2 hours later. Upon my return, no oil change was done. They told me that the drainage system in my car was damaged, and that I needed to change it for 700$. It smelled fishy, and I moved on to the garage next door. Oil change went smooth and nothing major was needed. TERRIBLE. I am reaching out to corporate to let them know.

  The entire team is great, excellent customer service, even got listen to some good tunes and chat with front desk while I waited. Pricing was incredible and greatly appreciated. Highly recommended 😊

  I brought my Chevrolet Equinox into Mavis Tires & Brakes for a very simple service: one tire replacement and an alignment. Unfortunately, the experience was completely unacceptable. The technicians installed the tire on the wrong side of the vehicle. After we addressed the mistake, the mechanic became extremely aggressive and stormed out yelling profanity, saying he was ‘sick of this.’ He then got into my vehicle, started it aggressively, reversed over a curb while revving the engine extremely hard, and accelerated over the curb again. It was shocking and incredibly unprofessional behavior to witness from someone handling a customer’s vehicle. What made the situation even more concerning was that after noticing I was standing there watching, the employee began acting erratically and even hit/punched himself in the face. No customer should ever have to witness behavior like this from someone servicing their car. I contacted the regional manager, John, hoping the situation would be handled seriously, but the response felt far too accepting of the employee’s behavior. That level of conduct should never be considered normal or acceptable in any professional automotive business. This was my first experience bringing a vehicle to Mavis, and it will absolutely be my last. I would strongly recommend being cautious before trusting this location with your vehicle.

  Stopped by Mavis Tires & Brakes on Main St in Dunedin and had a really great experience. The manager Sam and Donovan mechanic went above and beyond with customer service and took the time to help me out when he didn’t have to. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care and are willing to help customers like that anymore. Really appreciate the kindness and professionalism — definitely earned my future business.

  Matthew provided outstanding service. He was quick, efficient, and professional from start to finish. He told me the job would take about 25 minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised to be out of there even sooner. It’s always great to deal with someone who respects your time and delivers exactly what they promise. Highly recommend!
