  We have worked with Camping World for many years. We just bought a new camper again from the Tampa, FL CW location! After 9 years of doing business with them, they not only continue to provide superior support, but it seems to have gotten even better! The manager, Chris, was genuinely kind and professional. Hunter and John and Kyle in finance were great! Mary in parts was lovely. Doug, Alan, Daniel, and Brady in the service shop were outstanding while helping us with our pre-delivery walkthru and taking care of the last-minute installs and fixes. Jackie in reception was also so pleasant and helpful throughout the 2-day delivery experience! Finally, James in sales was one of the most honest and kind and professional sales managers we have ever worked with in our lives! Thank you, Camping World Team of Tampa, for helping our family secure a new RV for the second time from you! We are grateful for your honesty, kindness, professionalism and customer service! Keep doing what you are doing! Great job!

  RUN... dont walk... RUN away from this company! Worst experience of our lives. We have purchased an RV elsewhere and had a completely different experience. We understand things happen with them but it is how the issues are handled and this company cannot deliver a working trailer if their lives depended on it. We have been going back and forth with them for 12 months trying to get a working trailer, which was delivered with a bunch of issues, issues that were promised to be fixed before they delivered. The manager Josh will not return your calls. The front desk staff is rude and not helpful. If you call they transfer you to a voicemail and you have a 0% chance of getting a call back. Go anywhere else but here and you will be better off.

  Its been 9-12 months since we purchased our trailer and we have been unable to move it since day one. We have been working with Camping world for many months trying to have them repair things that are all under warranty and were suppose to be done before they delivered the trailer. The manager Josh has stopped returning my calls (left about 5-6 voicemails over the last 3-4 months and have received 0 calls back) and we have no update as to when our tire, jack or blinds will be fixed. My advice, go ANYWHERE else! Anytime you call them, you will get transferred to a voicemail and your chance of getting a call back is about 2%. I can go on and on with how disastrous of an experience this has been but just save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

  ⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointing First RV-Buying Experience I purchased a 2021 Forest River Grey Wolf 26DBH from Camping World in Dover, Florida on July 27. As a first-time RV buyer, I relied heavily on the sales team to be transparent, communicate with me, and make sure the camper I was purchasing was properly prepared for delivery. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. My sales representative, Sean, knew what I needed the camper for, but I never felt like he was interested in helping me find the right unit. I was approved for approximately $26,000 in financing, but I was never properly informed of my approval amount so that I could consider other available inventory. Instead, the focus seemed to be on completing the sale of this particular camper before the end of the month. The camper had obvious evidence of damage and use by the previous owners, including holes in doors and damage to the refrigerator door. I was assured that the necessary repairs and detailing would be completed before delivery. Camping World had the camper for 11 days, yet much of the promised work was never completed. I also paid for the Premium Package, and the paperwork specifically states that it includes services such as premium interior/exterior detailing, a new mattress for used RVs, odor neutralization and tank flush/sanitization for used RVs, a starter kit, and other services. I did not receive everything I paid for. The camper was not properly detailed. The dinette was supposed to be shampooed and remains heavily stained. The black tank was not properly cleaned and deodorized. When I began setting up the camper and added water to the black tank, I was immediately hit with a strong sewage/fecal odor from the previous owner's use. The replacement mattress was also not placed in the camper as promised. Perhaps the most frustrating part was the communication—or lack thereof. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back with updates, but I routinely had to call myself to find out what was happening. When I asked for an estimated completion date, I was made to feel as though I was unreasonable for simply wanting information about a major purchase I had already financed. I understand that manufacturer-related delays can happen. What I do not understand is promising a customer that work will be completed, failing to notify the appropriate department that the work even needs to be done, and then leaving the customer to repeatedly chase down updates. This situation also resulted in approximately $1,280 in lost wages because of the delays and lack of communication surrounding delivery. As someone who has worked in management and customer service, I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, my experience at the Dover location left me feeling that closing the sale was more important than making sure the customer actually received what they paid for. I sincerely hope Corporate takes the time to review the recorded calls, sales documentation, Premium Package paperwork, and service records associated with this transaction. This was my first RV purchase. I should have left excited about my new camper. Instead, I have spent my time trying to get promised work completed and trying to obtain basic communication from the dealership. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from this location to carefully document everything, verify exactly what is included in any package you purchase, and make sure every promised service is completed before accepting delivery. I hope Camping World ultimately makes this right, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend the Dover location.

  I do post when posting is due! James Parady was my experience guide and I cannot give him enough praise. Sales management, finance, and Allen in delivery made a complex deal come together. My big day started with me removing my treasures from my trade RV, pickup of trade, walking through new, finalized all the paperwork, transferring a few more treasures, to placement on an RV site to camp. They know how to treat a customer. I have had numerous RV’s now and half from Camping World Dover. Great job team!
