  One-Star Experience — Reservation Means Nothing? I have been an Enterprise customer for years, with the majority of my rentals being through major airport locations. I have always appreciated the availability and choice of vehicles and have considered myself a loyal Enterprise customer. That is why this experience at the Enterprise S. Military Trail location in Delray Beach, FL was so incredibly disappointing. I reserved and prepaid for a premium vehicle, specifically because I had an important event requiring a four-hour drive to Tampa. I knew my 2012 Ford Escape, which I love, was not the vehicle I wanted to trust for that trip. I went a step further than simply making an online reservation. I personally confirmed the reservation with the branch manager, B. McFarland, and then confirmed it again online. I arrived at approximately 7:30 a.m. to pick up the vehicle. Instead, I was told by the agent that I must have changed my reservation. No, I didn't. The vehicle I had reserved and confirmed was not available. I was offered a white full-size pickup truck — a Ford and, I believe, a Hyundai were also mentioned as alternatives. None of these vehicles remotely resembled the Audi/BMW-level premium vehicle I had reserved and confirmed. So, on the morning of an important event, I was left without the vehicle I had paid for and planned around. I sent a prayer to the traffic angel above, got back into my 2012 Ford Escape, which I apparently should have trusted all along, and headed to Tampa hoping that the universe loved me too. What makes this particularly frustrating is that this wasn't a last-minute walk-in rental. I planned ahead, prepaid, confirmed the reservation with management, confirmed it online again, and showed up when the branch opened. What exactly is the point of making and confirming a reservation if the customer can arrive and be told that the reservation essentially doesn't exist? After years of being an Enterprise customer, this experience was enough to make me reconsider that loyalty. I find this level of service incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. I will be taking my business back to Hertz Gold going forward. One bad rental can happen. But failing to provide a prepaid, repeatedly confirmed reservation for an important trip — and then suggesting the customer somehow changed it — is a completely different level of failure.

  Worst experience I've ever had. I was given a smoke filled small SUV that stunk was so badly it made you cough when you turned on the AC. When I complained I was called twice to come pick up a new SUV. I took off work both times but each time I arrived at my scheduled time I was told nothing was available. The most frustrating experience I've ever had with an Enterprise and I will not be going back.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Enterprise thanks to Briar and Allie! They provided outstanding customer service and made the entire rental process smooth, easy, and convenient from start to finish. When I returned my rental car, they even went above and beyond by giving me a ride to my automotive shop so I could pick up my own vehicle. They were both incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to receive this level of customer care, and I truly appreciated everything they did. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this Enterprise location. Thank you, Briar and Allie, for making a stressful situation so much easier!

  Jalen & Ariyona at CLT Airport were amazing & went above & beyond in their customer service delivered. Bryer at the Delray Beach Location was also fantastic. I love Enterprise, Thank You always for the great service & the great rental options.

  Beware the staff member Briar will lie and say he called to confirm your reservation and he does not! There is nothing you can do with a liar, Yes I booked my time for 12PM, and did not arrive until 5PM. But, I have NEVER had this issue before. I will ensure that I inform Costco as I booked under my travel account. And I will cancel my corporate account. If he (Briar) is any indication of how Enterprise trains their employees to lie and give word salads when you ask questions, I will not do business with them again. There are options and with the current economic climate and the reduction in tourism they will feel it in more then one way. But, I hope Briar has the day he deserves.
