Rented a car in Daytona on Mason Avenue and the customer service from Adam, Alexis and Chandler was top notch. It was easy, quick and they were all very efficient, friendly and it was an overall great experience.

I had an extremely disappointing and honestly unsettling experience with Enterprise at 800 Mason while trying to address what I believed was a safety issue with my rental vehicle.
Multiple warning lights appeared on the dashboard, including a low tire pressure warning showing one tire at 25 PSI. Concerned about driving an unsafe vehicle, I called Enterprise Roadside Assistance. The representative instructed me to return the car to the nearest Enterprise location for a replacement vehicle. She provided the address and assured me everything was arranged and I would only need my ID.
When I arrived, the manager, Adam, was rude and dismissive from the very beginning. After I explained the issue, his response was, “We’ll see about that.” He took the keys, started the vehicle, and appeared to intentionally dismiss or ignore one of the warning messages on the dashboard. He then drove the car to the garage while we waited outside.
When he returned, he stated their air compressor “wasn’t working,” but claimed he checked the tires and that everything was fine — despite the vehicle still actively displaying low tire pressure warnings. When I explained I did not feel safe driving a vehicle with multiple warning lights, he became condescending and told me the car was safe because he was “a human and knows more than the car.” When I told him he was being condescending and that I simply wanted a safe replacement vehicle, he refused to help me and told me to try another Enterprise location.
I left feeling visibly shaken and honestly more uncomfortable because of his behavior than the vehicle itself.
To make matters worse, when I got back into the car, TWO tires were now reading even lower pressures than before (21 and 22 PSI). It appeared air had actually been let out of the tires while the vehicle was in the garage.
As of now, I am still driving a vehicle with warning lights and two low-pressure tire warnings.
What should have been a straightforward safety-related vehicle exchange turned into hours of stress, dismissive treatment, poor communication between locations, and behavior from management that I found completely unacceptable. I expect significantly better customer service and professionalism from a national rental company, especially regarding customer safety concerns.

It’s the second time I am renting here both times I had to wait for more than an hour to pick up a vehicle.
They check you in and you sit there forever.
Unpleasant experience, they never check on you until they have a car ready. And the car was not clean both times.

I am leaving this review on Sanford/Daytona Alamo
The worst car rental experience ever please stay away and if you happen to rent triple check you don’t leave ANYTHING behind. I am local and rent all the time when having to travel a long distance or want more room this particular and my LAST time I will rent from Alamo in a rush I did not check the back door (my daughter) to catch that a wallet was left. Less then 24 hours we noticed and I called/drove location and told by Madison that car was sent to Alamo Daytona and was not cleaned in Sanford. We call speak to Adam in Daytona told wallet is found and of course her cash is missing 150.00 yes her birthday/christmas$ stolen by thieves!! When we bring this up of course told by both Adam/Madison an independent investigation would be completed. We go pick up the wallet my husband calls the police for a report of course shift change the officer gets to us after hours and Adam had already ask my husband to leave because he is hungry and ready to go home. And said you really going to do this!!!! Officer tells us we have to come back during business hours. What a lesson learned!!!! Alamo has thieves for employees working for them and managers who showed no empathy to the situation. My husband went back to Daytona police and told my daughter would have to be the one to make a complaint and most likely to Sanford what a run around. It is NOT about the money but PRINCIPLE.

Adam was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, his customer service skills stood out immediately. He was working alone in what was clearly a very busy and understaffed environment—phones ringing nonstop and a line of customers out the door—but he handled everything with professionalism, patience, and a calm demeanor.
Despite the pressure, Adam never once made me feel rushed or overlooked. He took the time to address my needs thoroughly, answered my questions clearly, and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. It’s rare to see someone maintain that level of composure and attentiveness while managing so many responsibilities at once.
What impressed me most was his ability to multitask without sacrificing the quality of service. He treated every customer with respect and kept things moving as smoothly as possible under the circumstances. His positive attitude and dedication did not go unnoticed.
Adam, you are truly an asset to the company. Your work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to excellent customer service set a high standard, and it made a stressful situation much easier for me as a customer
