  I purchased a headlight restoration kit from Advance Auto Parts on September 20 and never used it. The product itself was completely brand new and untouched. It had been sitting in my car for about a month because I had been working long hours for weeks and simply didn’t have the opportunity to bring it back sooner. Naturally, after sitting in my car for that long, the cardboard packaging had a small dent and a few minor dirt spots that could easily have been wiped off with a damp cloth. The actual product was in perfect, unused condition. When I tried to return it, the employee refused because of the packaging. I opened the box right in front of him to show that everything inside was completely unused. I even straightened out the dent in the cardboard to demonstrate that the packaging was still in reasonable condition. He then pointed out that the box was dirty. I politely asked, “If I clean it, would you be able to accept the return?” He immediately said no When I asked why, his exact response was: “Two reasons I just told you. It’s dirty, it’s been opened, and the package is damaged. I can’t sell it.” What frustrated me the most wasn’t even the refusal itself. It was the complete lack of willingness to help or find any reasonable solution. He didn’t offer any alternatives, didn’t try to work with me, and seemed to have made up his mind from the very beginning. And here’s the most ridiculous part: I literally threw the entire product away, along with the receipt, in their trash can right in front of the employees. I had absolutely no use for it. A headlight restoration kit isn’t something you use on a daily basis, and I had no reason to keep something I never needed in the first place. I wasn’t trying to return a used product or take advantage of their return policy. I simply wanted to return an item that had never been used. Instead, I walked out with no refund, no product, and a terrible impression of this store. I understand that businesses have return policies, but there’s a difference between following company rules and treating customers like their concerns don’t matter. A completely unused product, a slightly dented cardboard box, a few easily removable dirt spots, and absolutely zero effort to help. Very disappointing experience. I would have appreciated even the smallest attempt to find a solution. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Definitely not the customer service I expected from Advance Auto Parts.

  Wonderful customer service from gasim I didn’t really know how to spell his name but he will get your battery done and wipers done very fast and efficiently great job from this employee

  Ganish was amazing today with installing my battery within 10mins and it looked so complicated to do but he’s a young professional for his age he is a great addition to the store and loves to help out in the best way possible every time. High recommended employee
