My car needed a jump to start so drove it there to have the battery tested and would have bought a battery on site. The guy at the counter would not even test it and told me to come back as 9am when someone else is also working there, company policy. I had to flag him down from the back to even get help in the first place. Terrible service and company policy if that's the case. You would think as an older female he could have considered being kind for a moment instead of using a company policy as an excuse not to help and make a $200 + sale in 5 minutes. Shame on you.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
