in my opinion, next time the mechanic should discuss with a customer the work requested if needed or not. I googled information believing my car was struggling due to a certain issue. I took it in and requested that the issue be fixed and I didn’t get any feedback Whether I needed it or not. They just did the job. I am hoping it was needed and hopefully the car will run better

They have been working on my cars since 2007, and though some employees are sadly no longer working here who I remember , the customer service at this tuffys is still the best , and always treated me as family.
They will help with the cost when they can ( you don't even have to ask ) , they have a high respect for vets, today I want to give a shout out to
Miss Dawn Campell and JOE the Tech
who found the issue with my vehicle and fixed it so quickly.
Thank you Tuffys , don't change please, your doing a great service here in Clermont, FL!
A few months ago I brought my car in to Tuffy's for an alignment because I purchased new tires. On the first attempt, the car was given back to me but the steering wheel in the resting position was crooked, and the vehicle was drifting. After the second attempt the steering wheel still had a slant and was still drifting. I was told by the tech on the test drive that the road is causing the drifting due to the grooves in the road, but that the alignment was perfect.
A few months later I was getting my car scheduled maintenance at my mechanic, he told me that my tires needed to be replaced because the alignment seems to be eating away at my tires. He checked the suspension and found no suspension related issues that should have caused the rapid wear. I brought the car back to Tuffys to discuss the issue and they attempted to charge me a fee to check their alignment. They tried to blame it on the tires, claiming they were defective and were not taking accountability for the damage to my tires.
I went and got a third opinion, at another tires and alignment shop. They confirmed that the alignment was bad. I have printouts to prove it. I would not recommend having your alignment done at Tuffys. They do a bad job and don't make things right based on my experience. I cannot speak for their other services, so I will not try to.

My Mercedez broke down and I arrived at Tuffy on a Saturday 10 minutes before they close down and they received me with love caring and understanding. It was raining. I arrive in a tow so for me it was the best experience ever because women in cars are not very friendly so they were very understanding they gave me first a diagnose. They kept calling me to letting me know. Any updates all the time. Also they gave me options. If you’re looking for a reliable, respectful, professional, fast car repair service with understanding, full heart of people come to tuffys.

My son-in-law took his car to this Tuffy for an oil change. As is routine with most automotive repair shops, they provided a list of additional work they said that needed to be done. The list included a full front and rear brake job, new serpentine belt, new spark plugs.
I have maintained the car for over 10 years and knew they were giving him false information and trying to sell unnecessary work.
I installed a new belt, and plugs less than 20,000 miles ago.
I took off the belt and inspected it, and found that it was in perfect condition, no wear, stiffness, burn marks, or cracks. Nothing at all to indicate to an honest mechanic that it needed replacement.
The spark plugs are NGK iridium plugs with 20,000 miles on them. The life span on those are from between 45,000 to 60,000 miles. I pulled off the plastic cover and exposed the coils and plugs. Based on the dust and engine grime on them, it was obvious that the cover had not been removed since I last worked on the car. I pulled all four and found them to be fully functional.
Now to the brakes. I bought new pads to install. When I pulled both front and rear calipers, I found the front pads still had 7mm of pad material left, the rear and 8mm. They were fully serviceable and far from needing replacement. The rotors were smooth with no sign of grooves or warping.
This establishment appears to be willing to sell unneeded work to unsuspecting customers.
