  The vehicle I rented had a balance from someone that didn’t pay their tolls. I couldn’t use my SunPass or go on any toll roads because I could not add the vehicle to my account. I called the 800 number and the lady said she would have someone call me from Clearwater. They did but basically told me to use the vehicle and then pay the amount and they would pay the fees. What a joke! I have the SunPass to not have to pay full price for the use of the toll roads. It just put a bad taste in my mouth and will reconsider whether I will use National again because of this issue.

  I reserved a car on Expedia. I was told I had to pay about 68.00 for the rental for 1 day. I was told that was that I had to pay upon arriving at the car rental. When I get there they tell me at the counter there is a 400.00 deposit! I was NOT told that when I reserved the car. I do NOT appreciate not being told about a 400.00 deposit! DO BETTER! NEVER will consider your company again! The whole situation was SNEAKY in my opinion. Funny part is if they had been upfront and not lied about the fee, I probably would have gone ahead with the rental.

  The pick up process and drop off were smooth and fast. The vehicle was clean and drove excellent. The price was great as well.

  An issue with our rental vehicle happened as we were trying to return home from our trip. After some delay and confusion - National Roadside Assistance came to the rescue and Anthony (National Manager at our local branch) made it right in the end.
