On my birthday no less. So instead of taking a quick trip to the beach as planned we had to deal with the tire. While we did get to enjoy breakfast at Lenny’s we had to wait for a while for AAA to arrive. But the AAA driver was great. Efficient and gave us a recommendation for our next step to get the tire repaired so we could drive a few hours home safely. Mavis Tires & Brakes on Gulf to Bay took good care of us. Phil at Mavis made our day. I not only recommend them as did the AAA driver but also would not hesitate to go back for service. Go Rays !
- CTChris TonkingApr 21, 20261.0I called Mavis Tires on Saturday to arrange for 2 of our vans to have new tires, I agreed to the price and booked both vans to be done on Monday. Two minutes after hanging up I received a call from Phil confirming our appointments for Monday. Phil did mention that if we could get the vans there for Sunday it would be good because they are slower on a Sunday (makes sense) however I could only get one of the vans there on Sunday. We arrive at the location on Sunday morning they do not have the tires in stock and now the agreed price according to Phil has gone up almost $300, after going back and forth with Phil telling me not to interrupt him when he's talking and the price I got was from the call center not them he could not do anything about it, I would have to wait for Joe the manager. I must say Joe was a lot more helpful, Phil could learn a lot from him. We were very dissatisfied with the service we got on Sunday it took over 3 hours to change the tires.
