I have been going to Tire Kingdon/Mavis for about 12 years now. I just moved to the area 2 weeks ago and was happy to have a Mavis 5 minutes away. I scheduled for a full synthetic oil change. I wanted to have the brakes inspected, Tires Rotated, and I checked off for the balance check as well. The guy helping me was very kind and patient. He seemed kinda new and showed the guy i wanted the balance checked. The other guy RAMBLED for about 5-10 minutes straight about how I shouldn't do the balance check. Of how he couldn't do that. If he were to do that for every car he could only do 3 a day. He clearly was frustrated about having to do it and did everything possible to convince me not to. I'm am not going to insist if he clearly has a bad attitude about having to do something that is offered for free. One guy said he doesn't understand why they do 8am appointments if they can't get the cars in until 9am. My appointment was for 9am and just waited about 1 1/2 hours while I did some work on my laptop. The worker once again chimed in on the why I shouldn't do the balance check. I told him don't worry, that I just don't want to listen to him anymore about the same topic. Overall i was satisfied about my oil change and tire rotation. They never checked the balance and I didn't hear anything about the brakes. Computer was having issues so i didn't receive my report/inspection details/ receipt. I would've given it a 5 if it wasn't for the one guys attitude about the balance. What'salarming is that he was doing this in front of the new guy. Who clearly saw that his co-worker was in the wrong. I'm paying $100 for an oil change that i could've done myself for a fraction of the price. Shame on the guy with the attitude of a bratty 13 year old pouting and making excuses for not wanting to do a job his company offers.

I recently received exceptional service from Phil, the rep at Mavis, Gulf to Bay, Clearwater. I needed brakes, battery and oil change. I not only received immediate service, Phil managed to find discounts for both brakes and battery!!

I’ve been driving with a nail in my tire for weeks so I finally took the time this AM to get my tire plugged. Phil (at the front) got me right in with a technician... I was in an awful mood but Phil wore me down with his pleasant demeanor and accommodating attitude—By the time I left, I was in a much better mood AND was finally able to check this off my long to do list… I will only come to Mavis from here on out😊😊. Thanks guys… Ooh yeh, and thanks for having that FREE AIR MACHINE out front which I often hit late at night to make sure I didn’t wake up with a totally flat tire. I’m sure someone else reading this can relate…!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mavis Tires! The Manager, Justin, and Assistant Manager, Aaron, were amazing from start to finish. They made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely well taken care of.
They replaced my tire very quickly and turned what had been a stressful situation into such a positive experience. This is how you run a business—by not only providing a service, but by truly caring about your customers and delivering outstanding customer service.
This was my second time at this shop, and once again, they did not disappoint. Justin and Aaron definitely earned a loyal customer. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending this location to others.
