She refused to give us the price that was on the shelf which is what you're supposed to do. Horrible customer service. We left without buying anything. I went to the advance auto parts on main Street in dunedin and not only got awesome service but he also installed them for me. Definitely do not recommend this store. Drive a little farther for much better service

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
