- PEPablo EscobarJul 16, 20265.0This is my favorite auto parts store plus Johnny and Tee need a raise I came to the store to do two oil changes and one battery all at the same time but one of the cars I was getting the oil for didn't have the the Big 5 quart gallon so Johnny made it happen by giving me five of the courts individual not only that I wanted the new filters and they made it happen by adding them and giving me a discount because they were better they even gave me a card so that I can take my battery with me it was the best customer service ever thank you Johnny and T oh and they even put me on to some things you put around the battery so that they won't pick up that corrosion I learned something new LOL

- JBJordan BlakeMar 20, 20251.0I'm a 71 year old male going on 72 I've always changed the oil in my vehicles my vehicles go many hundred thousands of miles I've changed spark plugs oil and filters countless times but I never experienced a parts persons personal interaction like I did today, the woman was dark haired heavy set probably five six in her 40s, last time I changed the oil in my Ford F-150 6.2 l motor I had the same person she didn't give me enough oil and she gave me the wrong filter. After crawling underneath the truck and discovering that I was given the wrong filter I had to drive all the way in to another advance Auto store up the road and get the right filter and more oilI even had the box when I went to her this time and she said it was the wrong filter. When I told her she wasn't giving me enough oil she said that was enough oil. When I asked which motor she had on the computer she said the biggest one they put in that truck. She said she knew because she was Ford certified. When I told her there was something wrong she patronized me and said I didn't know what I was talking about. She wanted to keep up the argument but I refuse to speak. Then she accused me of yelling at her very untrue. I won't be going back to that store in Chiefland Florida.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
