  I won’t be shopping at Advance Auto Parts Store #09159 again. I recently learned that a common maintenance item I purchased here was priced significantly higher than the exact same product at a nearby competitor. After discovering the price difference, I contacted the store expecting some level of customer service or goodwill. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do. What disappointed me the most wasn’t just the price—it was the complete lack of concern for keeping a loyal customer. Most businesses at least try to make things right when a customer brings a legitimate pricing concern to their attention. That didn’t happen here. If you’re buying motor oil, filters, or other maintenance supplies, compare prices before checking out. You may end up paying considerably more than you need to. I found much better pricing elsewhere and will be taking my business there from now on. Shop around first. Loyalty clearly isn’t valued at this location. Buyer beware.

  Buyer beware before purchasing oil or other maintenance products from this Advance Auto Parts location (Store #09159 in Cape Coral). I’ve been a loyal Advance Auto Parts customer for years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. Last night I purchased a 2.5-gallon jug of Shell Rotella T4 15W-40 for $51.99. The very next day I discovered the exact same product was selling at Home Depot for approximately $41.98—a difference of about $10 on a single jug. Thinking this was simply an honest pricing issue, I returned to the store and spoke with the manager on duty. Despite being a repeat customer, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. No price adjustment, no store credit, no attempt to retain my business—just “there’s nothing we can do.” I understand that retailers set their own prices, but charging substantially more than a major competitor on a common product and then refusing to offer any customer accommodation is disappointing. Customer service doesn’t end once the sale is complete. Going forward, I’ll be purchasing my oil and maintenance supplies from Home Depot or other competitors that offer significantly better pricing and better value. Do your homework before buying here. Compare prices first, you may save yourself a considerable amount of
