I’ve always used tired kingdom or mavis but the one time I didn’t, they put the incorrect tire on and had no idea. Nonetheless I’ve only had great experiences at any of their locations. However this may have been the BEST experience yet! Mariah doesn’t just work the front desk, she is extremely knowledgeable and fantastic at dumbing things down for the rest of us haha! Extremely happy from the expectation of timing, getting the right tires for your car or why you need specific tires over another and went out of her way to get me Pirellis over the Michelins in under and hour! I am going to out of my way to come here and drive past the other 8 locations on the route! Mechanics are awesome as well. They play good music! Haha big thanks to you all!

I had a great experience at Mavis Tire! They were incredibly fast and efficient, and thanks to their quick service, I was able to make it to my hair appointment on time—which I really appreciated! Everyone was friendly and helpful, and making an appointment online was so easy and convenient. Great service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Mavis Tire!

UPDATE – September 2026:
Mavis Consumer Solutions reviewed my case and ultimately resolved the situation professionally. They reimbursed me in full for both Toyota dealership invoices for the corrective balancing/alignment work, and they also refunded the Mavis alignment charges. I appreciate that corporate took my documentation seriously and made me financially whole.
My original review below reflects what actually happened at the Lakewood Ranch location, so I am leaving it for accuracy. However, I am revising my rating because Mavis corporate ultimately stood behind the customer and did the right thing. I hope the local store uses this experience to improve both quality control and customer service.
I brought both my 2024 Corolla Hybrid and 2026 Camry Hybrid to this Mavis location for new tires, balancing, and alignment. Unfortunately, what followed turned into multiple return visits, wasted hours, and eventually having to pay Toyota to correct the work.
With the Corolla, I waited from approximately 12:15 PM until 5:30 PM for the work to be completed. After leaving, the car had a noticeable vibration at highway speeds and the steering wheel was off center. I had to return and have the alignment and balancing redone. Two wheels were found to be significantly out of balance.
The Camry then developed a similar vibration after its tire installation. I returned again, and I was told that a technician had driven the car and that everything was fine. I did not agree with that assessment, so I took the Camry directly to Toyota of Lakewood Ranch.
Toyota found that all four wheels were out of balance, with approximately 3.25 ounces of total imbalance, and they also performed a four wheel alignment. I had to pay $317.67 to Toyota to correct work that I had already paid Mavis to perform.
What made the situation worse was the customer service. After I contacted Mavis corporate customer service, the attitude at the store became noticeably hostile. When I asked normal questions about what was being done to my vehicles, one response I received was “What now?”
I understand that mistakes can happen. What I cannot accept is having to return repeatedly for the same issues, being told a vehicle is fine when an independent Toyota dealer subsequently finds otherwise, and then being treated rudely for asking reasonable questions.
I have opened a case with Mavis Consumer Solutions and submitted the Mavis and Toyota invoices and alignment documentation. I am requesting reimbursement for the Toyota corrective work.
I wanted to support a local tire shop and initially chose this location because of the price and included services. After this experience, I no longer have confidence in the quality control or customer service at this location and will not return.
