  Mavis Tires & Brakes Equals “Weekend Savers”!!! It has been a long time for me to be able to say I have a reliable Service company in my neighborhood!! Just before closing on Saturday I was welcomed in with a huge weekend killer tire problem and thanks to Carlos and his team, they were not only able to allow me to salvage the rest of my weekend plans but I was also able to make dinner reservations for Early Mothers Day dinner with my Daughters 🌸 I have lived in this area for over 30 years and I will be spreading the word!! Thanks Guys and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE! 🌺

  Scheduled service to rotate tires and front end alignment at the State Rd 70 location next to Raceway. Was greeted warmly by Mike and his staff. Was able to take advantage of the online special coupon offered for the front end alignment which made me happy. They offer a nice clean and quiet waiting area along with a filtered cold water machine which is nice for staying hydrated. Also received an fair estimate on an upcoming break job that I was already aware of needing.

  I would give half star if I could. I came into Mavis Tires & Brakes on a Saturday needing an alternator while traveling I was stressed and thankful they got me back on the road the same day. They completed the job, but immediately after leaving, my AC stopped blowing cold air something that was working perfectly before. I returned the next day, explained the issue, and instead of properly diagnosing it, they blamed a belt and replaced it. Then I was told my AC was “working” and that I’d need a recharge soon. It was NOT working anyone with basic common sense could feel that. When I came back again, suddenly I “needed a recharge now.” At that point, it felt like nothing more than a money grab. I took my car somewhere else and surprise a wire had been knocked loose and was visibly disconnected. A simple fix that Mavis either missed or caused. So no, nothing randomly broke. It was careless work. As a single mom, I don’t have money to throw away on unnecessary repairs and guesswork. This place will turn one issue into three and keep charging you. Unprofessional, sloppy, and completely untrustworthy. Avoid at all costs.

  Brought my car in for what turned out to be a slow leak from a small screw. After their inspection, I was told the nail was in an area their technician couldn't reach and that the tire couldn't be patched, and that the wear on both tires meant I needed to replace them both. Because I had a tire warranty through my dealership, I declined and made the drive to Cape Coral Jeep. Their technician patched it without hesitation. The screw was dead center in the tread, a textbook patchable repair. I still have the screw as a reminder to not let myself get screwed by these people anymore. I don't know if this was incompetence or a deliberate attempt to sell two tires I didn't need, but either way I won't be back and I'd encourage others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any recommended replacements here, or avoid the company altogether.
