- JWJohn WintzingerFeb 24, 20265.0We drove 1500 miles from northern Mchigan to spend 2 months in the warm weather. I thought the brakes were making a slight grinding noise but my wife didn't notice it. I asked for an estimate over the phone and was told about $1200 and took my car in. They said the front brakes were about 50% and the rear were 100% but the alignment was off. We knew that because we just got 4 new Michelin tires in MI for $1400. Belle Tire who has many locations in MI said they couldn't align the tires and something, they didn't know what, might be bent. REA aligned the front end and now the car is driving great for $190 when we expected to pay $1200+. I've used the same repair place in northern MI for 30 years and Belle Tire for 20 years and I trust REA more than those 2 places. THEY ARE THE MOST HONEST CAR REPAIR SHOP I'VE USED IN THE LAST 30 YEARS!!
