I found what I thought was the right size on the shelf but after a conversation with Cajun, (employee), he told me I didn't have the right size. After searching the shelf, the correct size was not on there so Cajun told me to hold on. He said there are a few other places he can look. A few minutes late, he told me he found it. It may not seem like a big deal but his attention to detail in making sure I had the EXACT right part made an impression on me. And that is why I keep coming back here. They are friendly and eager to help.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
