First of all I must say thank up to EVERYONE at MAVIS. They are just the nicest people. They did me a huge favor,. I had a flat that bent my rim, and put a hole in my tire. Well they let me leave my car there, overnight, and the next day things were squared away.. I have to give a big shout out to Carlos, the GM, and ALDO, the Service Manager. Just good men. I can’t thank them enough. Not only that. The interactions with other customers, is exactly what the definition of Customer Service means. So if you need work on your car, come see Carlos, and Aldo. They will make you feel at home. And in truth this should be your home when it comes to car repair

I recently went to Mavis in Boca Raton to replace the rear tires on my Mercedes S600 after getting a flat tire. I've used Mavis before and never had any issues, but this was my first time bringing in this car.
They were able to get the correct rear tires by the next morning, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended.
The technician who installed the tires appeared to be inexperienced with mounting very wide 20-inch tires. Either the equipment they used wasn't appropriate for this type of wheel, or the technician lacked the necessary experience. As a result, the black powder-coated finish on both rear rims was chipped during the installation.
I had to point out the damage to the manager. He said he would call me with the name of a shop that could repair the wheels, but I never received a follow-up. They did provide a free wheel alignment to compensate for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, but it didn't address the damage to my rims.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this Mavis location for high-end or luxury vehicles. They may do a fine job on standard vehicles, but if you own a car with expensive wheels and specialty tires, I would suggest taking it to a dealership or a tire shop that specializes in luxury vehicles.

I called because I had a flat and was ready to buy new tires. I was offered a low price and a discount plus an immediate appointment, all over the phone. I purchased a set of tires here a couple of months ago. I also wanted an alignment performed but was told the "rack was broken". My first highway ride was a couple of weeks after getting tires and at 70mph you could tell the balance was way off, shaking through the steering wheel. I tried to schedule several visits for an alignment and was told on the first come back that the "alignment guy was sick". I dropped it again on June 6th and they called saying they couldn't do the alignment because of my Jeeps "torsion bars" so I asked could they at least perform another balance and was told "the machine would overheat if they tried and to come back tomorrow". I asked if they machine was better tomorrow or do they just not want to do the work. Fed up with dropping off the vehicle multiple times and no service to take place I took it to Tires Plus. When I told them of the experience they looked at me funny and laughed. They said the balance was way off and fixed it. I own a stock Jeep Wrangler and in no way have aftermarket anything so every story from Mavis was just them not wanting to work or redo work. Lost a customer for this crap.
