  How can I talk to a real person. The automation said please stay on the line to speak with a representative and then the line disconnects. I’ve called 24 times same result.

  DO NOT GO TO THE APOPKA LOCATION. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. The nightmare started Tuesday when I brought my Mercedes in for a windshield replacement. After waiting, I was told they had ordered the wrong windshield and that I needed to come back. I was specifically told it would arrive and be ready Thursday morning. Thursday came… and it still wasn’t there. No phone call. No text. No communication. Just more excuses. On Friday at exactly 5:30 PM, I received a text saying my windshield replacement had started. After that, no one ever called or texted to tell me anything else. I spent the rest of Friday calling the store, chatting with Safelite customer service, and trying to get answers. I was repeatedly told the technicians don’t leave until the last vehicle is finished, so I drove there, only to find the shop closed, all the employees gone, and my Mercedes still sitting in the back with the same cracked windshield. The work had never been completed, and no one bothered to tell me. After excuse after excuse, I finally picked up my car Saturday with the original cracked windshield still on it because I needed my vehicle. Then I had to return again on Monday. Monday’s appointment took FIVE HOURS for a windshield replacement. The technicians made multiple mistakes, and one of them actually laughed and said, “Third time’s the charm.” That’s not something you say after repeatedly messing up a customer’s car. To make matters worse, they had to ask ME how to open the convertible top on my Mercedes because they didn’t know how. I shouldn’t have to teach technicians how to access my own vehicle. Three trips. Nearly a week wasted. Countless phone calls and chats. Five hours waiting for one windshield. No communication. Broken promises. Excuse after excuse. Save yourself the time, stress, and frustration. I will never return to this location and would never recommend it to anyone.
