SPRINGTIME MAINTENANCE FOR SMOOTH RIDES AHEAD

Batteries

Cold weather takes its toll on batteries. Now that winter is behind us, stop by for a free battery check to make sure your car has the power for smooth operation in the springtime weather. If you need a new one, we carry batteries with proven tough coverage from Duralast, plus performance options like Optima and Odyssey and economical buys from Valucraft. We have everything you need to keep your car powered all year long.

Brakes

Springtime brings sunny days and much needed rain. Stop on a dime year round with brake system maintenance. Reliable stopping starts at AutoZone. Get Duralast brakes that meet or exceed OE, economical options from Valucraft, or performance brakes from Brembo, EBC, and more.

Motor Oil

When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Windshield Wipers

Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

Stopped in today to replace my car battery. The line was a bit stagnant at first, but once it was my turn; everything was smooth. Eric tested my car battery and checked me in the system accordingly. He proceeded to replace it quickly, and I was out the door. Thanks Eric !

Refused to sell without my phone number—unacceptable. I came in to buy a part, but the cashier refused to process the transaction because I declined to provide my phone number. Since when does buying a standard auto part require handing over personal data? AutoZone has no right to hold a sale hostage for marketing tracking. Terrible customer service, I’ll take my business to O'Reilly or Advance Auto Parts instead.

I had a great experience at AutoZone in Altamonte. The manager, Freddie, was so kind, explained the battery issue in great detail and was quick and efficient! Testing and replacing the battery took all of 15 minutes. Thank you again for helping me!

This was one of the most unnecessary and preventable inconveniences I’ve dealt with in a long time. My truck suddenly stopped starting and would only make a clicking noise, so I took it to AutoZone to test both batteries since my truck has two. I was told BOTH batteries were perfectly fine and “working great,” so I assumed the issue had to be something more serious. Wrong. Later that same day, my truck completely died and wouldn’t even start with a jump. I use my truck for work and towing equipment, so because of this, I lost business, couldn’t transport product, and ended up paying for an expensive tow. Thankfully, the next day my car mechanic figured out the issue almost immediately and told me both batteries were basically completely dead. Not sure if this was an AutoZone issue or if the employee testing the batteries was completely clueless, but I don’t appreciate being given false information about my vehicle from a place that’s supposed to specialize in this kind of thing. If the batteries had been tested correctly the first time, this entire situation could’ve been avoided.
