  We have been waiting 3 months for a windshield from them. I can understand a back order. They now showed us 6 times. 6 times we had our day and work scheduled around them to no show us. Once they showed with the wrong parts. Still no windshield and zero communication. Terrible company, or at least this franchise location should be avoided. Corporate also has not been helpful. They have little information and also have not been able to reach this location. They are almost a monopoly. But do what you can to find another company for your windshield needs.

  This Safelite in Altamonte is AWFUL! Please don’t get services from here. 1. I had a chip on my window, went to get it sealed and they did a horrible job. They couldn’t seal it all the way and the chip was incredibly noticeable. I understand there can be a speck left but this was no speck! It was still fully chipped and the crack started to expand. 2. I had an appointment to get my windshield replaced- I make it out there and they didn’t have my windshield. They couldn’t call me beforehand? Waste of my time and the other person who took the day off to pick me up so I wouldn’t have to wait at Safelite. 3. I booked another appt a few months later through customer service and I told them to make sure to follow up with the Altamonte Safelite to confirm they will have my windshield. Customer service tries calling… no one picks up. They left a note on my appointment asking them to confirm my windshield was available. I even tried calling multiple times and no one picked up. 4. There’s absolutely no point for them to have a phone # listed when the lady who sits up front does not pick up any calls. Literally her job and just sits there fiddling with her thumbs. 5. I get a call 1 day before my appt telling me they don’t have my windshield! I knew this would happen. They said they can have someone come out that same week at my convenient time at home. I asked her (the front office lady) to please make sure they come at the time frame I gave her because I would be working in the morning . She said she will make sure and noted it on my appointment. 6. GUESS WHAT? Go ahead…. Take a wild guess?! The serviceman calls me the day of WHILE I WAS AT WORK, way before the time frame, told me he was ready and I told him I was at work and he needed to come back at the time frame I told the front office woman. He said he couldn’t. I told him to have his manager call me and no one called. 7. A couple days later, the front lady calls and told me I missed my appt! And wanted to reschedule. I gladly told her I will not conduct business with Safelite anymore. This place is completely useless. Please, do not get your services here. By the looks of it, some other people had terrible services too. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, they are paid or AI generated. Hindsight, I’m THRILLED I didn’t get my windows replaced with Safelite. They probably would have caused damage replacing the windshield. Divine intervention. I had another company do the service and they did an amazing job! I will NEVER get services from Safelite again.

  I had a great experience with Safelite. Even though we ran into an issue, the first time trying to replace my windshield, they were able to take care of everything perfectly. I would highly recommend them. They took care of all the insurance paperwork too.

  Brian got the job done efficiently after a full day of working in the extreme heat. He explained what he was doing and the time frame for his work. Friendly too.
