  I had to come here 2 days in a row because I came too late the first day. EVERY employee here is amazing. I especially want to call out Edward, John, and Kerrie. They were amazing with helping me get everything I needed for my car at a reasonable cost and still trying to entertain me since I had to be there for about 5 hours. On the second day however, some nasty Karen of a lady had come in and was getting rude with another awesome employee, Jesus, who reacted very professionally. She was upset about how much the cost of her oil change was even after he gave her a very generous discount and offered to price match for her. She also argued with him how much oil her car takes, like this isn't his job 🙄 she then proceeded to sit outside and write a review about how Mavis scams people. Don't get me wrong, if you have a lot of work that needs done then expect to put the money into it. It's not cheap having a professional work on your car. But they absolutely do NOT scam people. They will even take you into the bay to show you what is specifically wrong with your car. They are all highly professional here and take accountability for their mistakes (not that it happens often, but if they are really at fault then they accept that). I adore this place and every awesome employee that works there. Also, I called Ford to ask how much an oil change would be there for that specific car of hers since she kept saying they only cost $79 and they said it cost $175. I guess that lady isn't as special as she thought she was. May the employees of Mavis Tire rock on forever 🤘🏼

  A fantastic choice for tire replacement and alignment. Mr Edward was very professional and helpful with my needs, add George did a quick and fantastic job on the car itself. It's been about 3 weeks and I've noticed no defects or issues since the visit. Would highly recommend!

  Above and beyond! Had a blow out on I-75 and staff at Mavis found us a tow truck, when our insurance company could not (waited 30+minutes)-even though it found us Mavis. Got us right in and had our tire in stock. All of this on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks to the guys at Mavis, we only lost two hours and got us off a very dangerous spot on the shoulder of the interstate.

  For the past four years I’ve always patronized Mavis Tire because of their fast-paced and detailed services. They always take good care of me whenever I show up, even last minute. Also, Kerrie is just the best: professional, helpful, amazing human being. Thank you, Kerrie! If it was possible to give an extra star, I would.

  While visiting family in Alachua, I needed to get the oil changed in my Hyundai Kona. My husband made an appointment with Mavis Tires. We arrived on time, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted. We were told that they had just taken a power hit and their computers were offline. However, they took my keys, went ahead and pulled my car into the bay, and got started on getting my oil changed. Once their computers came back online, they came and got us and started getting our car registered. While I was waiting, I heard two separate incidents of GREAT customer service! The first was a gentleman who had brought his Tacoma in for new bearings (and something else, but I don't remember what, because that is not where the customer service came from). The customer was told that the bearings could not be replaced due to Toyota's requiring a special tool to get to the bearings. The customer was frustrated that the bearings were not replaced, but the gentleman behind the counter told the customer he was going to hold onto his phone number, and when his tool truck came this week, he would try to buy the tool and call the customer back. This did not completely satisfy the customer because he would have to pay for the labor to get to the bearings again. The gentleman behind the counter immediately told him he would cut the labor cost by 50% due to the inconvenience to the customer. The second event was when Kerrie had to call a customer and advise them that their vehicle was not going to be done by 5 pm (they close at 5 pm on Saturday). She immediately told the customer that she would stay late if she had to, no problem. That is going above and beyond for the customer! If I need to have something done to my car again while visiting my niece in Alachua, I will definitely come back to Mavis, and I recommend them to my niece, who lives nearby! Great job Mavis!
