We went in this store yesterday and the gentleman, I think his name was Billy, was just as rude as rude could be. Doesn't let you even finish a sentence before he cuts you off, and then doesn't want to pay attention to anything we have to say. And it was a simple battery warranty. We will never return to this store. They need lessons on customer service for sure.

Bill and Trevor were kind, professional and very helpful. They weren’t concerned that we got there close to them closing (which we sincerely apologized for). They replaced our battery while having light-hearted conversation. I saw other poor reviews about this store. I believe the small town vibe from Bill may be mistaken for rude or unprofessional. As a lifetime Alachua County resident, I appreciated his personality and relatable conversation. And I especially appreciate them not making us feel like a burden so close to their closing time. We’ll continue doing business here!

He does not know how to speak to customers professionally. After he finished assisting me, I told him to have a good day, and he didn’t respond at all. That was extremely rude and reflected poor customer service. I later returned to the store to exchange the light bulbs that Billy had recommended because they were the wrong ones. Instead of remaining calm and professional, he raised his voice while explaining how I would receive my refund. There was no reason for that behavior, and it made an already frustrating situation even worse. This was actually my second visit to this location, and unfortunately, neither experience was enjoyable. Customer service should always be respectful and professional, even when resolving an issue. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this store.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
