    I've never had a windshield replaced before so I was pretty nervous to have a technician come to me. Daniel took the time to explain everything to me and the process on replacement and it definitely was a breath of fresh air to know it wasn't going to be a problem to replace. I was back on the road and to the DMV in no time. Truly a life saver 🙏

    State inspection required a windshield Replacement due to a fine vertical crack in the glass. Claimprocess and scheduling was a breeze. The replacement windshield appears to be slightly smaller than the original, leaving gaps in the weatherstripping at the upper right and left corner of the window. The top center section of the weatherstripping failed to adhere and came loose after the first drive.

    I had an appointment on Monday 6/22/2026 For a windshield replacement. Estimated time of service while I waited was 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It took 2 hours 45 minutes to get done. Paid my bill looked at windshield from outside. Looks good. I get in my vehicle and drive away. As I am crusing along the alarm sensor that is supposed to be attached to to top left side of the windshield falls off and is hanging by the wires, that's when I started noticing other things not right. 1.alrm sensor was not re attached to windshield, they used the same 2 way sticky tape. 2. Front left A arm pillar cover was not snapped back into place, they also did not push that cover behind the the rubber weather strip. 3.dirty stains on front left pillar cover. 4. They did not clean up my dash board. When I arrived at my driveway I noticed small pieces of the old caulking from my old windshield and small bits of glass. Tiny but noticeable. 5. They did not vacumm the front floor mats. I found small glass debris on the passenger side floor mat that is rubber , so glass bits were easy to see. See enclosed images. As you can see from images mats are not clean. This is the second time i have issues with service at this and only safelite location in wilmington. The last time I had service for my other vehicle at this location was about 3 years ago, they damaged an A arm pillar cover and I called them asking for my part, but never got it. They just gave me the run around. I sold the vehicle 2 weeks later, so never went back or inquired about part. I called safelite customer service. They took all my info,but I am never going to hear back from them . Will be going elsewhere for future glass replacement. This is what happens when employees are not trained properly to to do the job right. And management on call is not following up on work done before releasing vehicle to customer.
