  People are so quick to complain when things go wrong but often fail to recognize exceptional service. I always try to thank people in person for great service, often speaking with their managers to make sure that they get proper recognition. I rarely write a review though, but I am gladly making an exception for Abraham, the manager of this Penske Truck Rental location on S. Main Street in Newark, DE. Before starting to type this review, I noticed that they have an amazing 4.3/5 rating after 62 reviews, with the overwhelming majority being a pefect 5 stars. After my recent interaction with Abraham, I can see why. His courtesy, kindness, and professionalism were all off the charts. Though this was my first interaction with him, he made me feel like a regular, valued customer and went out of his way to assist me, even doing some things that were clearly over and beyond even what is typically considered to be excellent customer care. It was a real pleasure to meet someone like this that not only is excellent in the way he conducts himself businesswise, but is so natural and nice that you get the strong feeling that he would be a genuinely nice person to know as an acquaintance or to have as a friend...and his smile is infectious. I would not hesitate to return to them for any rental truck needs, and it is my pleasure to give this location and Abraham my highest recommendation to others.

  Abraham’s an amazing and professional salesman or representative. His help and communication was key to my choosing Penske and I would especially recommend this location to anyone in need.

  I just need to take a minute to express my gratitude for outstanding customer service at the Penske location on South Main in Newark Delaware. This was not a 1 time occurrence. Every time I visit this location, Abraham greets me with professionalism and spends the time to review everything I need. Abraham also assists my colleagues when they are entering their driver's license information into the system. He doesn't make them feel inferior or that they are a bother to him. We never feel rushed or that any of our questions are annoying him. At this point I would drive additional miles just to rent from this location because of Abraham and his excellent customer service. Coming from a long time manager, I can assure you this, these types of employees are very, very hard to find. Penske you need to hold on to Abraham!!

  I would like to leave a review about Sheriff Abraham from Penske. Honestly, it had been many years since the last time I received customer service this good. From the very beginning, he was extremely polite, professional, patient, and very clear when explaining all the procedures. He made me feel welcome and was always ready to help with anything I needed. Nowadays, it is very rare to find someone with this level of customer service, communication, and dedication. You can genuinely tell that he truly cares about helping customers in the best way possible. What impressed me even more was that after I returned the truck, I mentioned that I might need another rental the next day, and he actually took the time to call me afterward to confirm whether I still needed it or if I wanted to change the date. That level of follow-up and customer care is absolutely exceptional. Honestly, every company should have an employee like Sheriff Abraham. He deserves special recognition from management and from the company because professionals like him make a huge difference and add real value to the business. Without exaggeration, I wish I had someone like him working at my company. Thank you very much for the outstanding service.
