  We had a horrible experience at Forest River RV in Delaware. We bought a used camper (toy hauler). We were there on a Saturday afternoon, when we walked in our salesman did not look thrilled to have to go show RV's. When asked him questions, he said I will have to ask several times. We finally decided on one camper we liked, we talked them down in price which they agreed. (If we knew what else was wrong with it, we would have talked them down more). They rushed us through the finance part of it because it was after they closed on a Saturday and they all wanted to get out of there. Patrick was the one who did all our paperwork, my husband was signing papers while I was setting up insurance on the phone, so I was not there to retain everything. After everything was signed we left, and my husband came the next Tuesday to pick up camper. They asked if we wanted the weight distribution hitch put on, we weren't sure what it was, so we did some research on it. I called the next day and asked if they can still put it on, they said yes, when I asked if it was still $800 like they told us when we bought it, they said yes. The mechanic (I forget his name, but he was awesome!) showed my husband how everything worked and what he fixed. Come to find out there was a table missing from the camper, the hooks that hold the couches up to the wall, dog hair all over the camper, the mechanic told my husband that he fixed some of the caulk on the roof, but they kept yelling at him because he was using too many tubes of caulk and that the owner (my husband) was handy so stop fixing it. Also, the weight distribution hitch ended up being a little over $1,000 and not $800 like they told us. My husband was told they quoted us for a smaller camper than we got. The next Saturday we went to Camping World in NJ to look around and get a couple things. When asked to confirm our phone # and email, there was a totally different email in their system no where close to what our email is. When I got home I look at the forms, and they had typed in someone else email all over our paperwork that we were rushed to sign. (Yes, I get it my husband should have read it and checked, but usually that is my job and I was on the phone with the insurance company, and they were rushing us through to sign everything). I emailed Patrick about it to see if we can change it in the system, because I am not sure what else we may have missed that might have came via email (ex: the memberships, etc). Still have not gotten a response to this day from Patrick about the issue. I had to call and get membership cards because the electronic copies were sent to the wrong email. It was a very frustrating time we had there. The mechanic was the only one that was helpful! We love the camper we got, and besides the things I mentioned everything else works perfectly. I would never go back to this place and do not recommend anyone buying from them with the customer service they showed us. If you need to buy from them, I would suggest a mechanic check for stuff that is missing and broken first before signing papers. This is our first camper so we learned our lesson!

  I wouldn't even give this place one star. This place is an absolute joke. We purchased a destination camper from them less than two weeks ago, and it has been nothing but problems. It wasn't even hooked up correctly when it was delivered. When we called to have it properly installed and repaired under our warranty, we were told we had to bring it back to them. I drive a Subaru Outback—how exactly am I supposed to haul a destination camper back to the dealership? On top of that, the slide-out doesn't extend all the way, and both bathrooms are leaking. We paid for a camper that should have been inspected and ready to use, and we also have a warranty. Unfortunately, once they had our money, it felt like they no longer cared about helping us. To make matters worse, the way we were treated was completely unprofessional. Yelling at a woman instead of trying to resolve the issue is unacceptable. Customer service and standing behind your products clearly aren't priorities here. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership.
