  I had a flat and took it in on a Sunday explaining that I had a funeral service to go to and needed to leave by noon. They took me without an appointment. At noon they came out and told me the estimate to fix it and turn on my tire monitor system. I told them I had to leave. They patched the tire, but left the system off. Brought my car out, parked it on the side without telling me it was ready. I noticed it when I walked out to make a call. The desk thought they'd given me the keys and id left. I almost missed my Aunts memorial arriving with a half hour to go. Later, I made an appointment to get the system turned back on, was asked if anyone called to tell me how backed up they were which was no. I was fine rescheduling for 2 weeks later Went for the next appointment was told it would be hours. I complained that this happened to me 2 weeks ago The desk manager said he would send someone out to restart it and to wait outside. The waiting room was full. After sitting on the curb for 30m I just got up and left. Credit for being open on Sundays and helping me out of a jam, but the rest is horrible service.

  Class act. Great service. Great people. Top Marks for this group if automotive techs. I caught a flat on my way down to Dewey Beach. I dropped my flat tire off with them. They said, give us a day, we got this. They got me the right tire and did NOT try and sell me a "match pair". Much to my surprise, they put the tire on my Bronco for me and stored the spare, all without asking. That is what a class operation does. Class act.

  Extremely Disappointing Experience I would give zero stars if I could. I dropped my car off at Mr. Tire in Lewes on Friday for brake line and rotor work. I was originally told the car should be ready Saturday. That was then pushed back to Sunday, possibly Monday morning. Because the work was not completed when I was told it would be, I ended up being stuck in Delaware until Tuesday afternoon around 5:00 On top of the delay, I was charged around $3,500 for the brake work. After spending that kind of money, I expected the vehicle to be properly repaired and safe to drive. Unfortunately, as soon as I left the shop and filled my tank, my gas tank started leaking badly. I had no idea I had a serious fuel leak until immediately after leaving the shop. I’m not going to claim the shop caused the leak without proof, but the timing is extremely concerning, especially after just paying $3,500 for repairs and they even did an inspection so they must’ve not looked very hard. The customer service was also extremely disappointing. The man I spoke with on the phone, Phil, was extremely disrespectful and hung up on me multiple times in the middle of conversations while I was trying to discuss my vehicle and get answers. That is completely unacceptable customer service, especially when someone has just spent thousands of dollars at your business. The one person I will give credit to is Joe. He was respectful, professional, and actually treated me like a customer should be treated. Unfortunately, one good employee does not make up for the overall experience. Between the $3,500 bill, repeated delays, being stranded in Delaware until Tuesday, the serious gas leak immediately after leaving, and the way I was treated over the phone, I am extremely disappointed. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and a written estimate from another shop before spending thousands of dollars here.

  Phil was the most helpful person I've dealt with at an auto shop. After finding no answers around town on fixing a rental he was able to provide answers immediately and helped to get it fixed as soon as possible.

  ★★★★★ → ★ Extremely disappointing experience with Mr. Tire in Lewes. I made an appointment online for a 1:00 PM oil change and received a confirmation. When I dropped the vehicle off, I was told they had no appointment for me—even though I had the confirmation to show them. My son works Beach Patrol and needed his vehicle for work. We were then contacted and told that the brakes needed to be done. Instead of completing the oil change while we were deciding whether to authorize the additional work, they apparently waited for our decision and ultimately did not complete the oil change that day. This created a huge logistical problem for our family and left us scrambling to figure out transportation for my son to get to work. The service manager then promised the vehicle would be ready by 7:30 AM the following morning. It wasn't ready until 10:00 AM. When we finally got the vehicle back, the tires had not been rotated, and they hadn't even put the service-date sticker in the windshield. This is especially frustrating because this is our second experience with sloppy work and scheduling inconsistencies, and we have spent over $1,000 with this business. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, follow-through, and attention to detail has become too much. To make matters worse, we were also encouraged to have an additional service performed on the vehicle. We had our trusted mechanic look at it the very next day, and we were told that service was not necessary. At this point, we have completely lost confidence in this shop. It's a shame because we wanted to continue giving them our business, but there are too many reputable and trustworthy mechanics in the area who deserve our business more. **We will not be returning to Mr. Tire in Lewes.**
