- SYScott YoungApr 19, 20261.0The first vehicle they gave me had a check engine light come on within 12 hours. Took it back. They gave me a lesser vehicle at the same luxury price that, after the extensive deodorizer they put in wore off, smelled like a cat litter box inside, and there were cigarette butts under the driver seat. Then the A/C stopped working and the check engine light came on. Roadside sent me to the BWI airport to swap vehicles (2 hours away) and when I got there in the middle of the night, they informed me they knew nothing of this and had no car to give me. After waiting at BWI for over an hour and being hung up on by Roadside (I was fairly heated by this point) they finally found me a vehicle. That vehicle was severely out of alignment, but I had to leave for Georgia for a work trip, and I guess that was better than a litter box. I ended up spending money for a hotel in Baltimore as I was exhausted and had been dealing with this issue starting at around 10 am this day. As a national account with Enterprise, we expect better treatment than this. This is poor customer service, and that is being generous. And this is NOT the first time I’ve had these kinds of issues with Enterprise. Needless to say, the next work trip I used Hertz, and let me tell you, their vehicles and customer service were TOP NOTCH. Zero problems, zero issues. I will no longer be utilizing Enterprise and will definitely push for our entire company to switch providers.
