  Would like to share my recent oil change experience with Valvoline in Dover, DE. I brought my 2024 Audi Q5 for an oil and filter change. During the service they recommended my antifreeze to be topped off. I noticed a few employees gathering around my vehicle and looking under the hood. One of the asked me to step out of the vehicle so they could show me that when they unscrewed the radiator cap it had snapped and left the threaded portion in the radiator. They claimed it was like this and they did not snap the piece. A few minutes later again a group of employees were back under my hood and outside the garage on the ground with my oil filter housing. They then went inside with it and discussed with others. Finally they came to me and explained that when they remove the old oil filter that the housing was broken. Again stating that it was already like this. I asked for a manager and complained because this Valvoline was the last to give my car an oil and filter change. He apologized and said they are not responsible for broken parts. But if I purchase the parts they would install for free. A week later I returned with the parts and a different manager explained that they could replace the oil filter housing but not the radiator cap. I would need to bring to a shop. I did so and it cost me $100 in labor plus the parts were $80. I opened a complaint with Valvoline and after weeks of supply receipts and communications, upper management decided that they did nothing wrong and closed my complaint. Some how two components of my car broke during a routine oil change and it was my fault and not the hands that broke them. Now that upper management has closed my complaint there is nothing further I can do but write this review. Very upset that upper management did not try and compensate me in anyway.

  Shame on you Valvoline!!!! You guys attempted to charge me $260.00 for a simple oil change on my BMW. I've had this car for 5 years, so I'm fully aware of what it should cost me. They told me expensive toys cost money and also the convenience of not having to step out of my car. I told them not to touch my car and I would conveniently call my dealership and make an appointment. By the way the BMW dealership charges $120 less. Shame on you Valvoline!!!!!

  The team that worked on my car was great. Explained everything and even gave great conversation as I waited. I wish I could remember the two gentlemen’s names. One was the manager and the other knew his anime,🤣. I have been coming to this Valvoline for years now and I have not been disappointed. Keep up the great service 👍🏾.

  Craig was amazing as well as the rest of the team. I came in and he fit my car in for an oil change and everyone was over the top friendly and accurate. I highly recommend this team if ypu want something done right, fast and have a friendly atmosphere. They all deserve to be recognized but Craig is out of this world just AWESOME!!!! 10 stars all the way around

  Troy, Tony, and Danny were absolutely amazing! They made sure I was in and out quickly while still taking the time to explain everything to me very carefully. They gave me different options and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. They even helped me go online to find a discount, which I really appreciated. Their customer service was excellent, and they made the entire experience easy and stress-free. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you, Troy, Tony, and Danny, for going above and beyond!
