  I would NOT recommend this corporation to anyone looking to rent a vehicle. You have a problem with the car - then you will be forced to talk to a robot. You forgot a simple item in your vehicle and it is attached to the rental car key itself? You will be charged $40-$60 dollars for a simple key to be shipped to you within continental US. Wow. Price gauging at every single turn without providing individualized service. I rented a car for 4 whole days and it that span of time never once had I the option of talking to an actual human. You will have no option, but to figure all that stuff out yourself, despite paying top dollar for non-existent customer service.

  I was told someone would meet me at the American Departure door to pick up my rental car due to a very short time frame to catch my flight today: 4/30/2026. No one was there! I called again and the representative told me they would contact the branch to pick it up. Five hours later and the car is showing unaccounted for! I’ve called every possible number and cannot get in contact with anyone at the BDL location! I’ve rented with National for years as Executive Elite and have never had this type of issue before. Someone PLEASE contact me!!

  Easy check in and easy return. Any information needed to address a situation was available and easy to access.
