  8|10 @3:00 I had an appointment for an oil change and I already got it done before from you guys. My car is not even touching 100,000 miles my oil change is LESS then 80$. This guy at this location LIED and told me for my 2003 Honda civic that I would be 175$ to change my oil and when I asked him to explain where he got that price and wasn’t even on the website And I also told him I paid only a quarter of what he’s saying the price is now Arguing with me that the price of oil went up, but in reality he could’ve expressed that it was a hot day and he’s the only one working in this location and he just didn’t want to do it. I would’ve respected that more than him treating me as if I don’t know things about cars or if I’m not educated. Respectfully I’m in Monroe in Derby and I’m currently about to pay $75 for my oil change. Which I’m so glad I didn’t get it done there because obviously he doesn’t wanna do his job if he’s giving customers the wrong information so that he doesn’t have to perform a job then imagine if he did. NO STARS fire him

  They seemed friendly when I went in for my oil change but all that went away when I declined the 1900 dollar services they claimed I needed, when I paid for the oil change and went to my car I had my dirty cabin filter just sitting on my seat with all my belongings all over the floor and my glove box fully disassembled. I should have listened to the yelp reviews giving this location only a 2 star rating

  We drove over 2 hours to New Haven to tour Yale. Caught a bolt in our tire on a Saturday at 3:00p. We looked up tire dealers/shops in the area and there were few open. We called Monro in West Haven and they were so friendly on the phone and said come right in. The two guys there (Nick and Lorenzo) were knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Had us on our way in under a half hour. Highly recommend!

  Spent several hundreds of dollars when in reality, all I needed was a $30 piece to be replaced. They swapped out my spark plugs and two of my coils (thank heck I didn’t allow them to do all four and charge me for this too), and it was the evap valve all along (someone else’s diagnostic device showed me this directly). Spent hours there for them to just lie to me (my check engine light was on again within an hour of leaving). They told me that all of their staff left, and manager too, between visits, no wonder why. Maybe they weren’t about the snake oil lifestyle. Or maybe it’s because regardless, this behavior is disgusting. He even showed me the new versus old coils and absolutely nothing looked different. I should have trusted my gut and left.
