Staff were very helpful, everything went very smoothly and quickly, they even beat me to my car with the new battery and tools while I was finishing up inside. Will be back for my next battery (hopefully not soon!). One thing I will note, the check-out process *for their website* was not easy. It kept glitching when I tried to use Paypal, which they advertise as accepting. Of course this is not the location's fault, just thought I would note it for others!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
