  Hunter was wonderful every step of the way when I bought my new car. He made it a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend Torrington Hyundai as this is my 3rd car I purchased from them.

  I had Mason as my salesperson. He is professional and courteous. He got to know me and my needs in helping me find the right car for me and he did. He does follow up to ensure that I am happy with my choice. The entire staff is pleasant and professional. I had Chris as well to ensure that I understood about my vehicle and he even invited me to me back if I needed more assistance. Who does that? Very impressive. This is my third vehicle from this dealership and I love going there. I am grateful to have Mason and chris to assist me

  I came in on 04/16 and paid for service appointment plus oil change. The engine light was on at the time and the car was shaking. I was told it was no big deal. I took my vehicle to Midas of Torrington, they immediately scanned and diagnosed my vehicle free of charge. They even went as far as contacting CarMax (my lender) on my behalf and the lender told them my vehicle is still under warranty and that the issues must be fixed for free at the dealership. Midas advised that I towe the vehicle to the dealership and could not understand why at the service appointment, this was not explained to me. My vehicle sat for over 24 hours at the Torrington Hyundai dealership before it was looked at. I was told by reception that a 10 AM appointment had been set for me (the time my vehicle arrived by way of towe) and that the issues would he addressed same day. I also received an invoice stating the car would be ready by 5 pm that same day. At around 4:30 pm i called because i found it strange that i hadn’t received a call from the service department. I called a handful of times after having the phone ring out or lead to voicemail. When my call was finally picked up, I was shocked to be told that my car sat the whole day untouched and they would “know more” the next day by lunch time and would give me a call. The next day, i did not receive a phone call and so (once again) I called in repeatedly until someone picked up. I was told that my car (still) had not been touched and someone would call me back within 30 minutes. To no surprise, I once again did not receive a call back. I called back again and again until someone picked up and after almost 2 days, the car was diagnosed with what the dealership already knew since last week. I was then told it could take up to 2 weeks for my vehicle to be fixed! They still had not reached out regarding my warranty. They do not have any loaner vehicles to offer. This is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating customer service.
