This was my first experience buying a car from a dealership. Bert helped us and he did a great job. He was patient helping us find a car that we really wanted. We spent the whole day and the last car we test drove was the perfect car.
I wish the financing went smoother. They called 10 min before we had to leave to pick up the car and it was very stressful. I had a small crack in the back of my Mazda and it is certified pre owned and they said they couldn’t fix it.
I’m bringing it back for service and I hope the experience goes well. Overall it was a good experience. Not much wiggle room in pricing, but I thought it was fair market value.

Looked at a few cars here months back both were one owner but both were new york city cars in accidents, Have purchased a used cx5 elsewhere as they didn’t have one available with the color and options i wanted, but i still wanted to do business and i was happy there was a dealer to help me out with servicing and maintaining my mazda in the next town over i Reached out and after fighting their ai phone system finally got a person probably December or Jan i had questions on transmission shifting and maintenance (more on that later) but seeing about adding remote start to be told they no longer sell or offer remote start installs, i had some issues with a burning smell recently luckily just stuck rear brake slider pins i tried to call tried to submit an online contact form and heard nothing back -
So mazda themselves claims skyactiv models have lifetime transmission fluid,
I was having jerky/jolty shifts from time to time and on any incline the adaptive cruise had no idea what gear to put the transmission into it would shift up down up down i was told by a service tech this was normal operation and to be gentle on the throttle until it warms up - that the transmission shifts harsh until at operating temperature so at one point more recently i was on the highway on my way to my uncles funeral i was trying to merge into the left lane to allow room for a semi truck to merge in and avoid being hit by another semi truck and it acted as if i had put it in neutral the rpms went up and the car went nowhere for a second like it was in neutral so i let off the gas and
It then grabbed the lower gear and the rpms dropped back down i was able to put my foot back on the gas and accelerate — i knew something was off i thought maybe spark plugs air flow sensor or throttle body i have bever had luck with mechanics being honest but i told the one whom helped me fix my brakes and saved me the expense of both electronic calipers what was going on and that i wanted plugs wires/coul(s) throttle body cleaning and in the time he had it for brakes and returned it to me he said at the mileage you are at your transmission service and differential have no maintenance history so we need to give attention to those first i got my car back from just a drain n fill drain old and fill with new and a relearn /adapt and all of my issues are gone — mechanic said if i didn’t catch it when i did i would have permanent transmission damage!
I have only owned a mazda 6 or 8 months and i was thrilled because family has them and they have reliable and also live near good dealer with good customer service and great service departments Shame i tried to give this place another chance yes i say another because they tried to sell my dad a hyundai tuscon about ten to twelve years ago with 300k miles and no warranty of any kind clearly they do not want to help customers who do not buy a mazda directly from mazda, and the company lying saying its lifetime fluid when the 2019’s had a transmission pan with a filter right underneath
Further proves they just want to sell cars. Very disappointing experiences why i thought ten or 12 years would change anything? Because i believe in second chances. Not all customers are rich not all customer want disposable cars. Please help us keep them on the road with original drivetrains!!
