  Brought a company van in for service, had a check engine light and a clogged ac drain hose. I got a call saying the clog was cleared and they would call me back with a diag on the code for the check engine light(which they said in this call that the issue is not currently happening at the time of unclogging it he drain) They call me back and say “we think it’s spark plugs” and it was over $1000 to replace it! Their diag was “the tech swapped plugs around and we think it’s that” how they diagnosed an issue that they said wasn’t replicating is beyond me, but what’s also equally continental is that the spark plugs aren’t a warranty item (van is still under warranty) They also informed me that now suddenly the daytime running lights and the right flasher bulb are out (even though they were working before) and surprise! Another non-warranty item which means we have to pay! I refused all repairs and am having another dealer take a look I’m sure they’re good at selling cars but the service department will make guesses for diagnostics, charge a lot for repairs, and break more items in the process of “fixing” your vehicle as to try and get more $

  Started my experience by accidentally clicking buttons when looking at a JEEP Gladiator and I started getting some text messages from a salesperson named Zach. He was very forthright with information and not pushy at all. So I decided to go drive one at a very local dealership as Zach was almost an hour away. The local dealership experience was awful. They held my keys hostage on my trade-in and after three hours of terrible customer service I was able to finally leave. Keep in mind- I’ve bought there before so I’m a repeat customer, and I service my Jeeps in their auto group. I will NEVER go back to them for sales. And this specific dealership damaged my last new Jeep while doing warranty work just after purchase! So this one will NEVER see me for service work- their sister store is leaps and bounds better. I spoke to Zach more via text and was provided full detailed pricing with all information available on a couple of vehicles I looked at on his website. The next day I drove the hour to visit him at his dealership and drove away in a brand new Wrangler Willys Jeep. The management team is incredibly laid-back and personable. Ryan and Jeff were great to talk to. Zach was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about the product. F&I was not pushy with upsells. Everything was shown, all prices and costs disclosed, payments and options for down payment money were all in plain sight. The only thing I wish they would change is that damned music that they play! Someone please tell the owner that a 53-year-old man buying a jeep does not want to listen to trap rap and horrible new pop radio! 🤣 The process took a long time and we were there for 5+ hours, but it was not their fault. I got to drive three different vehicles to make up my mind and they pulled a service loaner, cleaned it and did a quick alignment on it for me and accommodated my “on the spot delivery”. We went for a little lunch nearby in the midst and made a fun day out of it. I’ve been in the car business 24 years in all departments and they run a top-notch dealership with a fantastic crew of patient and accommodating staff. I walked by a service customer sitting on the bench under a tree reading a book and asked her how she enjoyed her experience with the dealership. She said she purchased from them and services with them exclusively. I drove an hour and got the experience that I wanted, a price that could not be beat anywhere and the exact vehicle that I was looking for with no pressure, none of the typical “what would get you to drive this car home today?“ questions, no holding my keys hostage until I committed to the sale. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around. Thank you Zach and the team for making the purchase of my new fun vehicle, a fun experience to go along with it! I highly recommend Stafford CDJR, and it’s a nice and picturesque drive to get there. If you’re tired of the way things are typically done at dealerships, exhausted of the pigeonholing, the lack of knowledge, the hiding of the numbers, the sales managers that make the salespeople walk 10 miles back and forth, the lies and false promises, pushy finance departments, the (hidden) added paint protection or other things, then do yourself a favor and make the drive to the tiny little dealership hidden in the hills of Stafford CT. Trust me- this comes from a guy that has purchased over 20 cars in my life and has been in sales, finance, and now service in a few dealerships. Tell Zach I sent you!
