  Price. Always seem to find a way to crank up the price. A thousand dollars for a hose? Sure. Triple the labor rate? You got it. Interesting tricks like having a base labor rate per type of job that is already high and then doubling it for good measure. If a job takes only an hour don't even think of using the actual time just use the crazy recipe above.

  grossly overcharged me. later, i was told by a friend that they stole and sold her catalytic converter at this establishment. take your business elsewhere, do not recommend.

  Made an appointment online to go there to have a tire changed only to find out the tire mounting/balancing machine is broken. Then they tell me to go to the Watertown location. Try to call there and a random girl answers the phone only the phone shes on has horrible service and is cutting in and out. I hung up. Ill be going to Naugatuck Tire & Auto from now on.

  We have been using Monroe Muffler for many years with several cars and so has my family. We have spent thousands of dollars repairing our cars, oil changes, brake jobs, and buying tires. We have generally been very happy with the customer service and the work that’s been getting done. This past Monday I had my car there because it felt like the front caliber was locking up and I wanted to get it looked at And repaired. I received a phone call early Monday morning and was told that the frame and subframe of my car was completely rotted through and the car was not drivable because it was very Unsafe. I did stop by to. to look at it and yes, it’s definitely rotten. i’m just very confused because of all the work I’ve had done on this specific car over the past 12 months. I can’t believe this was never seen before. And if it was seen, why was I not told and allowed to drive this car along with my children? I am not a mechanic, but I am having a hard time understanding how so much damage happened and it was never seen. Especially when we just had brakes done on the car within the past six months. I did ask both men that were there this question and did not receive any answer. One told me it’s because of the salt on the roads in the winter time. I’m sure it contribute it to this problem, but it did not cause this much damage in a short amount of time. I’m just very upset that I put my trust into these workers at Monroe to be honest with me and tell me what was wrong with the car. i’m also very upset, knowing that I drove this car that was completely unsafe. had I known of this problem I never would’ve driven the car . I do not think myself or my family will ever return to this garage. I have attached the photos from this past week. I’m just having a hard time understanding how so much damage was there and this was the first time it was seen
