  The people at the service desk were fantastic. Justin and his associate was so helpful and very friendly. They made me feel very comfortable. I got to speak to Joe the mechanic who worked on my car and he was fantastic, very friendly & full of good advice that I needed for future work on my vehicle. Joe took care of my exhaust leak and it was a very worthwhile experience going to Monroe.

  My experience at Monro was very disappointing. I called on Monday to schedule a wheel alignment appointment and was given a time of 5:30 PM. When I arrived, they told me the technician had already left. They then explained that the people who answer the phone are a separate department, and that if I wanted to be attended on time, I needed to schedule the appointment directly with the shop. I made another appointment for the next day at 9:00 AM, and once again, when I arrived, they told me they could not work on my vehicle right away because they had too many cars to repair and that I would need to leave it there. During this same visit, there was also a woman ahead of me who had an 8:30 AM appointment for an oil change, and she was not attended on time either and left very disappointed. Clearly, my situation was not an isolated case. The whole point of making an appointment is to respect the scheduled time and avoid wasting the customer’s time. Very poor organization and customer service.

  I had a flat tire on my car and stopped at Monro to have it repaired. They charged me for the repair itself, mounting and dismounting the tire, wheel balancing, and miscellaneous supplies—even though the tire was repaired while still on the car. There was no dismounting or mounting, no balancing, no material disposal, and no use of miscellaneous supplies. It was merely a simple repair using a tire plug. This does not seem right to me.

  My name is Matt. I went to this place for an oil change which was already higher priced than usual and they forgot to put the oil fill cap back on after servicing. My oil leaked on a drive to Norwalk CT afterwards which could have done permanent damage to my engine, and I had to get towed all the way back to Naugatuck which costed me $223. I go back the next morning and not only did they have the nerve to lie to me and say it had something to do with the oil filter, the manager wouldn’t even cover the costs of the tow. I’ve never been screwed over like this in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service never go here.

  My experience with Monroe was one that I will never forget. They tried every avenue for me price wise for me to get my car back on the road. When one situation didn’t work they didn’t stop until a solution was reached. I would recommend Monroe to anyone who’s in need of getting work done on your car. They have the best team I know
