I took it in for a diagnostic test elsewhere and was told the oil had been overfilled—essentially putting my engine at risk. I contacted customer service to file a complaint and request a refund, which I believe was completely justified. However, my request was denied. I was told that after reviewing their footage, they determined the work had been done properly. They also said that if I had brought the car back to them after noticing the issue, they would have addressed it or possibly issued a refund. So let me get this straight: there was clearly a problem, but because I chose to take my car to another mechanic instead of risking further damage, I’m not eligible for any resolution? As a result, I ended up paying for two oil changes within two weeks. Extremely disappointing experience and poor customer service.
