We had such a great experience here. Kevin, Elijah, and Finance James were authentic, transparent, and wildly personable. Kevin worked so hard to find something that would be perfect for our son’s first car and then Elijah and James helped finish the process. They were so busy that day but we never felt rushed out or deprioritized and we loved and appreciated Kevin’s perspectives on what might be good to prioritize. It was a warm and friendly experience and would go back to them for any future needs. Google only allows for 5 stars but it truly was a 10/10 experience. They all should really get a raise and extra vacation time 😊👏🏼😊👏🏼😊👏🏼 Thank you so much for the incredible team!!!

I’m giving this dealership 2 out of 5 stars because my experience went from excellent to extremely frustrating the moment the sale was completed. During the shopping and buying process, they were outstanding. The staff was responsive, friendly, and accommodating. They let me test drive multiple vehicles, including a Land Cruiser while I was deciding between it and a 4Runner. They treated me like I was their most important customer and made the buying process feel easy and enjoyable. The problems started with the registration. Throughout the purchase process, I repeatedly told the dealership, at least five separate times, that I wanted to transfer the vanity license plates from my previous vehicle, which had been totaled. Every time I brought it up, I was assured it would not be a problem. After deciding on a new 4Runner and wiring payment in full, I informed them that I would return with my old plates so the registration could be transferred. I also paid a $1,000 conveyance fee specifically to avoid having to deal with the DMV myself. When I returned with the plates, I was told the vehicle had already been registered with new plates and that there was nothing they could do. Their solution was to help me schedule a DMV appointment to fix the issue myself. In the process, I realized I would need the title before I could even complete the transfer, meaning I likely have to wait about a month for it to arrive in the mail. I was actually the one explaining this to them, not the other way around. My wife and I have since made numerous attempts to contact both the salesperson and management to request a refund of the conveyance fee, since we are now being forced to handle the DMV process ourselves. Each time we are told someone will call us back, and each time nobody does. At this point, it feels like we are being completely ignored. A second issue arose when a rock chipped my windshield two weeks after purchase. This obviously wasn’t the dealership’s fault. However, when I tried to schedule service, I could only reach an AI chatbot and could not even determine whether the dealership repairs windshields. Since the dealership strongly encouraged us to purchase an 8 year bumper-to-bumper warranty, I wanted to know whether windshield damage would be covered. I eventually scheduled an appointment just so I could speak with someone in person. When I arrived, nobody in the service department seemed to know whether they repaired windshields. One employee genuinely tried to help and made several calls, but nobody he contacted knew the answer or responded. After I left, I finally received a text stating that they could repair the chip, but it would still be visible and that I would be better off contacting my insurance company to replace the windshield entirely. While I appreciate the follow up and honesty, it still left me confused about the value and coverage of the extended warranty that was heavily promoted during the sale. I understand that a rock chip is not the dealership’s fault, but after purchasing what was presented as comprehensive bumper-to-bumper coverage, I expected clearer answers and more confidence from the service department regarding what is and is not covered. The most disappointing part of this experience is the contrast between the sales process and everything that happened afterward. Before I signed the paperwork, communication was excellent and every concern was addressed immediately. Once the vehicle left the lot, it felt like I no longer existed as a customer. I absolutely love my new Toyota 4Runner and would gladly buy another Toyota in the future. Unfortunately, based on the registration mistake, the lack of follow through regarding the conveyance fee, and the disappointing post sale service experience, I will likely purchase my next Toyota from a different dealership.

Had a great experience working with Steve P at Toyota! He was friendly, straightforward, and incredibly efficient. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and was able to get me into the Grand Highlander hybrid I really wanted. The entire process was smooth and surprisingly fast - I was completely finished and out the door in about 3.5 hours. I really appreciated how easy Steve made the whole experience and would absolutely recommend working with him!

From the beginning to the end of the deal Kevin Bravo and his team has been nothing but awesome. From the beginning to the end Kevin and team treated me with respect and kindness as a person not someone who’s trying to make a sale with. I highly recommend purchasing a car from Colonial Toyota as they make the car buying experience less stressful, everything is communicated, transparent, and nothing is hidden. Definitely will be purchasing more cars from Colonial Toyota in the future!.

I personally wouldn't go back to this dealership. I had an unpleasant experience there, but it definitely could've been worse, so I'm grateful it wasn't that bad. I first had Justin (a very young man who no longer works there) who already registered my name and phone number wrong at first, and it went downhill from there. He filled out a bunch of paper forms that took forever, but I had to double-check them all because he was misspelling things and writing the wrong phone numbers and addresses. Despite my ID being right there. So it was disappointing that even after I corrected the papers, he still typed my info into the system wrong. I also said from the very beginning multiple times we wanted the Hybrid, and he kept forgetting and talking about regular Corolllas which was a little annoying and wasted time, or caused confusion in discussions. Justin also promised our 2026 Toyota Corolla Hybrid around late June when we agreed on a price and signed on May 31st, when in reality, we did not get our car until mid-August. I get that things get delayed, life/business happens, but I'd rather not be misled nor neglected any updates on delays and delivery estimations. He also kept promising to call me back with updates, yet never did. I had to call the dealership MANY times, as we didn't even know if our order had been sent to the manufacturer, if we got the color we wanted, or if delivery was delayed, or anything at all. I even specifically asked for the manager Elijah many times, only to still never get callbacks or updates. Partially due to my incorrect phone number in their system. But I also called from that same number many times, plus, I left my correct # with one of the salesman on the phone who said he wrote it on a sticky note to give to the mgr. They also had my husband's phone # in their system, which they never called, except once in the very very beginning when they couldn't get a hold of me at the beginning of June. Then, I got no notice that Justin left the dealership. So we were left behind with no one to be our contact. On one of my calls, Kevin Bravo (another newer younger guy) happened to pick up and was willing to be our 2nd salesman. I thought Kevin was very friendly and amicable, and enjoyed his help and proactivity with updating me and keeping in touch. He's still very green though, making some minor mistakes, messing up drilling the plate swaps, and being unable to answer some of our questions about the rebates/discounts and whatnot. But everyone starts somewhere so I wasn't personally too bothered, and at least it felt like he wanted to help us. And I like working w/ folks in my age group. Additionally, the dealership also didn't do that great of a job letting us know all the different options, rebates and deals, and documentation that we were supposed to bring for some of them. And overall, I really wish so much time wasn't wasted watching them slowly fill out paperwork of my info, and there was something I can do as a customer to double-check my info in the system for mistakes. Especially in today's digital world. And maybe I'm just petty and disgruntled, but there was a little more insult to injury when they only filled our gas tank about 25-30% when we finally got the car after everything else... 😅 Additional notes: - The facilities and friendliness of everyone in person was nice though. Free water/pop. - I liked the flexibility to negotiate on the price as well, and I was satisfied with my deal at the end of the day. The $999 default conveyance fee is outrageous though, and some of the other add-ons that you can't really take off without building a new car. - I never felt like I was looked down as a woman either, nor discriminated. My husband was mostly tagging along so I was worried I'd be undermined, or that they'd only talk to him or look to him for decisions when I manage the household. - My hybrid car drives like a dream and came in great condition! I love it! - I appreciated the follow-up call after to see if it was still working okay as well, and the rapport built with Kevin
