  My husband Bought a rim from this place and not only did they measure & still order the wrong size , we went back to get it fixed , they ordered a new one right away & guess what ? STILL THE WRONG SIZE. Except this time , they can’t help us exchange it because “it’s used” , less than a hour after pick up , simply because we tried to see if the rim fit. No scratches , no damages , BRAND NEW like when the box was opened & they still refused to exchange. Take your money elsewhere, I just lost $280 for THEIR mistake.

  The best team and the best place in CT. Ice been going since 2006-2007. Brian/Bryan and the crew are knowledgeable and professional. They can get anything done. Called tires in at 8am. Placed on car street work by 4p. I was across the street cooling the whole time. Great location!!

  Star Tires provides above-and-beyond exemplary service!! If I could give them a 10-star rating I gladly would. They are friendly, professional, thorough and, most importantly, trustworthy. I split my time between New York and Connecticut, and they have officially become our go-to place for anything related to our car. What impressed me most was the level of care they put into what was supposed to be a simple oil change. Their process includes a thorough inspection, complete with a digital report inclusive of photos of everything they inspected. It feels like a report card for your vehicle ☺️. They identify what's in good condition, what may need attention soon and what actually requires service. They even caught something as minor as a rear windshield wiper that needed replacing, which I had not noticed. As a woman (w/4 brothers), I have unfortunately had my experience of auto repair shops 'inventing' or literally creating problems with your car when going in for something as simple as an oil change or tire rotation. I don't have to worry about that at Star Tires. They're the kind of place I would confidently 100% recommend to my mother, my sister, my niece or daughter without hesitation. Their pricing is very reasonable and their approach feels genuinely honest and principled. They are a rare gem. I am genuinely grateful to have found them, and we will not be taking our car anywhere else.

  My issues was addressed immediately and completed in a timely manner. I would have given a 5 star except the lack of replacing my oil sticker for the window, so I can keep up with my maintenance.

  I purchased a tire and rim package from them a year and a half ago for $4,000 back tire started to dry and lose air still had 90% tread. I brought it over there telling them I'm not looking it for anything free but I think taking half off the tire would be sufficient. they charged me full price for a back tire on a tire that was a year and a half old cracking in half on the side wall and they wouldn't even beat the bill like a reputable company would. I'm a small business owner myself and if any product I ever sold to one of my customers failed within the first year and a half I would absolutely come out of my own pocket to take care of them the satisfy the customer
