  When is picked up this car, it was Uber clean. The staff at my local groton office were exceptional. Not to take away from the others but special shout out to Zach. Everyone truly makes it all happen here and they make it seem effortless. You can tell that they like what they do just in the short interactions you have with them. Whenever I had to extend the rental period (3 times!) It was worry free calling and getting it done. Props to groton enterprise for doing everything they do above and beyond! Don't even consider another rental agency than groton enterprise when you find yourself in need of a rental car near groton.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Marcus at Enterprise in Groton deserves 10 stars! I cannot say enough about Marcus and the incredible customer service he provided when our family and baseball team were in a complete travel crisis. We were traveling to Dover, Delaware with several kids and a TON of baseball equipment. We had a vehicle reserved through Enterprise in New London, but when we arrived, the vehicle we reserved was not available. Unfortunately, we were left scrambling without much help finding a replacement. We were stressed, overwhelmed, and honestly didn't know how we were going to get everyone and all of our equipment to Delaware on time. Then Marcus stepped in. Marcus didn't just tell us there was nothing available. He went to work finding a solution. He made phone calls, reached out to other locations and people, and kept looking until he found a vehicle that would actually fit our kids and all of our baseball gear. He was kind, patient, compassionate, and genuinely cared about helping us. In a moment of complete chaos, Marcus gave us hope and helped turn a situation that felt impossible into one we could actually solve. That kind of customer service is rare. Marcus went far above and beyond what was expected of him, and we are incredibly grateful. Enterprise is lucky to have an employee like Marcus. Please recognize him for the exceptional service he provided. He didn't just help us rent a vehicle — he helped our family and our kids' baseball team get where we needed to be when we were running out of options. Thank you, Marcus, for stepping up when we needed help the most! You are truly a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ employee! ⚾❤️

  We had a reservation in New London, but needed a car rather than an suv. I called around and had no luck until I went Groton. Marcus was extremely professional and helpful. Highly recommend him and the Groton location!

  Anyone can take the reservation. Long story so hold on tight. Reserved a vehicle on 6/10/26 for 7/17 for a family trip at the Groton CT Mitchell St office. Went to confirm with rental office that my vehicle would be available the day before. Surprisingly they told me most likely no. But to check back tomorrow to see if it got turned in. Called today to confirm they had the vehicle I requested today, I was told no. Then was told by the agent at the office, online reservation are essentially a "crap shoot". Online reservations never confirms with local rental they look at a database that is not up to date. Supposedly there is commission involved so they make all the reservations they can without worrying about the customer. They figure in most cases they can make it work. I needed a large SUV they offered me a large sedan. I then called the corp reservation. They told me they could get me a rental but it was an hour out of my way. I said fine at this point, I'm in a bind and have no other options. I told the operator to confirm that vehicle was at that location. They assured me they would have it there. As I'm getting ready to walk out the door to go get the rental, I was called by the office in Warwick RI and was told they don't have the vehicle and never did! So I called corp back and they told me to stand by they will escalate the issue and get back to me. that was 4 hours ago. I have not heard from anyone at corp. Now I'm sitting here worried whether or not I'm going to take my family on our summer vacation we been excited for all year.
