  East Lyme SAFELITE was a fantastic facility, workers singing to music while they worked was entertaining and they were truly enjoying their job. It was a fast and welcoming experience!

  Horrible experience, took 5 hours for my 2016 f350 to get done, on my birthday when my husband took the truck for me. Had to cancel plans after an overall was a terrible experience, i understand being busy but communication is key. I scheduled almost 3 weeks in advance, they had enough time to prepare the schedule appropriately, my husband was left sitting for 5 hours as we thought this was going to be a 2 hour thing an i had gone to do other things, other people came in unhappy as well. Wish I could give no stars. If we need to use safelite because of insurance in future definitely will not use this location.

  I brought my car to Safelite through my insurance company because there was a 3–6 inch crack on my windshield. I dropped my car off on Tuesday 5/5 and had to take an Uber to work on Wednesday. Around noon on Wednesday 5/6, Safelite called me and said they put the wrong windshield on my car!!! I was shocked and asked, “What kind of company are you guys?” She said there was nothing she could do except reschedule the service for Saturday. I asked them, “How am I supposed to drive my car until Saturday?” They told me they would leave my key inside the car and park it in front of the building. After work, I took an Uber to Safelite and saw my car parked outside. My windshield was 10x more broken and completely unsafe to drive. I still don’t understand how they managed to break the rest of the glass. My car was also unlocked with all my documents and belongings inside. I got into the car to move it somewhere safer, but I couldn’t because they forgot to leave the key inside like they promised. It was unbelievable. I called them multiple times, but nobody answered. I had no choice but to take another Uber back home. I had to keep taking Uber to work until Saturday. This whole situation was insane. When I went back to Safelite on Saturday, I asked to speak with a supervisor. One worker, who looked like he was in his late 60s, started yelling at me: “We don’t know!! Go ask the front desk!!!” I will never ever bring my car back to them again. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes. DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. IT IS NOT SAFE.

  Do not use this company. Made an appointment it was a six hour window never showed up no one called me and there was no way getting in touch with the East Lyme office. They should be shut down.if could give a 0 I would

  I wasn’t going to write this review because I was going to let it go but now after finding out more damage they did I’m not! I brought my brand new 2026 there because I got a crack on my windshield from a rock on the highway, I went to get my car when they said it was done and they didn’t even set the wipers right they had to fix it, that should have been my first sign to walk my whole car stupid me thinking they should know how to do their job! When I left I noticed that the bottom of the windshield is magnified and distorted! And as soon as I hit the highway the black plastic piece that goes in the corner of the bottom of the windshield and hood flew off because they didn’t put it on tight enough! so I called and made an appointment with another location because you don’t trust someone a second time after they mess up, I had to go to the dealership to get a new piece for my car.. and even after that I was going to let it go but today I went to the other location which they were way more professional and are going to fix the mess I was put in. When they went to put the new piece I BOUGHT back on my car they couldn’t because the prongs that hold it in place were bent along with the part of my car that is connect to it and it is no longer flush/even with my hood And after reading all these reviews it looks like you don’t like taking accountability I have a dash camera and I can prove what my car looked like when I stupidly brought it there
