- JJJoshAug 2, 20261.0Was just in this store today 8/2/26 I'm standing waiting to check out and there is a girl working with black hair who has her head down on the counter and she's taking nap. The other female associate see me standing there and asks if I'm all set. She had dirty blonde hair that was wavy and shoulder length. I asked her if the female employee who had her head down taking a nap was ok ? She rang me out and i was on my way. The male employee asked sleeping beauty if she had checked on an order and sleeping beauty gets an attitude and snaps "I am working on it". So, you have two employees working hard and the other one taking a snooze. This is absolutely horrible customer service, not to mention against every work rule I know of. Paying an employee to take a nap while the other employees work. Not to mention a morale killer for the other hard working employees. If it were my store, she'd be fired. Where do you get to sleep on the job amd get paid? This can all be seen on your security camera between 12:45 and 1:05 pm 8/2/26 approximate time frame. Also, ask the girl working that day with the diry blonde shoulder lenghth hair and tattoo on her arm. I should mention, she was very helpful and gave me great customer service

Same with purchasing a battery a few years back and a few other small items. Then tonight, not so much, I stopped in between 5:30-6pm, my battery died during the day...I asked if someone was available to test my battery...after a few words between a young male employee & a probably new employee, he sends the new employee... that was fine. I need a new battery. Back inside I asked "can someone install for me".... that young employee did not want to assist me, one excuse after another. I left and went down the road to AutoZone....new battery purchased and installed with a smile. AutoZone just got a new customer for future purchases. TY AutoZone for getting me back on the road.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
