    My car window was hit by a rock from an overloaded dump/construction truck. I contacted Safelite and booked an appointment to have my front windshield replaced. I was able to secure the aforementioned appointment for the same week as the incident. I was impressed due to the timing of the 4th of July holiday approaching. I brought my car in earlier than my scheduled appointment and the Safelite team was helpful and quickly attended to my case. My initial call for service was placed on 06/29/26 at 11AM and my vehicle's windshield was replaced, calibrated, and ready to be picked up by 07/02/26. I was so very impressed and satisfied with the customer service displayed by the entire team at Safelite. Needless to say, my family and I will continue to be customers at this amazing shop! Thank you Safelite and wishing all a safe and happy 4th of July weekend. Happy birthday America and a big thanks to our service men and women who keep our families safe.

    The tech cut the wiring to our professionally installed dash cam without warning this may occur. He said it happens sometimes and to call the office and they will work with you. I called and was informed that management said this was my problem. It could be a simple fix but to provide that kind of response is not acceptable and they won’t ever get any future business.

    I came in to have my windshield repaired, only to be told my appointment had been canceled because I supposedly never confirmed it. When I showed the representative the text message proving that I had confirmed, the explanation suddenly changed. I was then told they had tried to call me, but my voicemail was full. My voicemail is not full, and I never received a missed call or voicemail. At that point, I simply walked out. I took the day off work for this appointment, and now I have to lose more money by taking another day off because of their mistake. I understand that mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging the error, I was given conflicting explanations. It really made me wonder: whatever happened to professionalism and integrity? It’s safe to say I’ll be taking my business—and my money—elsewhere.

    Terrible experience! Guy removes my windshield right before its supposed to storm... mind you, I had them come to my job.. once its removed he finds rust. Says, " company policy, i cant install your new windshield " then leaves... leaves my vehicle completely without a windshield! Thankfully there was a glass company across the street that took care of everything for me. I would not recommend this company

    In mid May 2026 I had a tech from the North Ave., Bridgeport, CT Safelite come out to replace my front windshield. He was kind, courteous and things proceeded like when I’ve used Safelite in the past. They followed their mandatory process of removing the wiper arms and broke my wiper transmission linkage so that I no longer had a driver side wiper arm that could be put back on. The tech snapped the screw thread coming out of the spindle rod, and in its corresponding nut. I emailed store manager, went to the store, I spoke with Safelite’s customer care department, but they continued to deny liability. They said it was due to prior wear and tear and that “someone else did something wrong.” All kinds of excuses. They were trying to blame my mechanic who replaced the wiper motor five months before when my wipers worked fine for five months through heavy rain and snow until Safelite worked on my vehicle. Please note the technician worked on my car for about 24 minutes, before showing me the snapped screw in the spindle rod and its corresponding nut. He never advised me of any problems with the wiper linkage prior to that. I got an estimate to replace everything by my mechanic and it was going to cost $476. After not getting anywhere talking to the store and their customer care department I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They continued to deny any responsibility for their damage. Safelite left me with an automobile that was not legal or safe to drive for weeks, so eventually, I bought the part myself and after much personal labor I fixed it. I offered to close out the BBB complaint if they would reimburse me for parts, tools, and a fraction of the labor I had to put in for much less than $476. They still denied any and all liability. My advice to anyone is to take pictures/video before Safelite starts work on your vehicle and maybe stay with the tech while he works on your vehicle. I will not use Safelite again. Yes, I know it sounds like a lot, but after what I’ve been through I will not use Safelite again especially their Bridgeport location.
