I had a great first experience at Valvoline! Ethan and Storm, who worked on my car, were both friendly, professional, and made the whole process quick and easy! They did an oil change, tire rotation, and replaced my air filters while also keeping me in the loop every step of the way. The team was knowledgeable and never made me feel pressured into anything and just let me know about anything I needed to keep an eye on! It’s very clear that customer service is important to them to make your experience the best possible. Thank you, especially to Ethan and Storm for providing a stress free trip to an auto shop, and I will absolutely be back for future services!

Very friendly efficient and thorough service. Offered extras besides the oil change but did not try to up sell me, just explained what was available.

If you like uplifting energy this is your location. I went in for an oil change and was shocked by the vibe. These guys are amazing, kind and knowledgeable. Matthew is an amazing manager and teacher. Syrus was so kind while helping me and answering my questions. You can tell they all have fun and work well together. I’m only allowed to give 5 stars so I guess I’ll just have to come back to give more money. Thanks again!

All the guys at this Valvoline in Applewood, Lakewood Colorado were great to work with. They worked as an excellent team, seamlessly servicing my vehicle. When I got the news I needed a new battery, the man explained what he had found, and did the battery test three times to make sure it really was bad. The young man, Storm, who installed my new battery did a great job, very thorough, and gave me a tip about sprinkling pepperment oil on the engine areas so keep the squirrels away.

During my oil change, the technicians somehow got a tube stuck in my engine, making my vehicle undriveable. Instead of leaving with a completed service, I had to have my car towed to the dealership for repairs because I had no confidence in Valvoline's ability to fix the damage they caused.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of customer service. My vehicle was packed for an 8-hour road trip to an out-of-state soccer tournament, and because of their mistake, our plans were jeopardized. I asked for help with a rental car so we could still make the trip, but they refused to do anything to make the situation right other than convince me they could fix it when they were the ones that messed it up. There was no care or concern of us needing to be somewhere out of state and we didn't have the time to wait. I was told to call customer service.
Both the store manager and the general manager were unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no concern for the inconvenience and expense their mistake caused - other than giving us the typical corporate red tape BS. Mistakes can happen, but how a company responds is what matters. Valvoline failed on both counts.
I cannot recommend Valvoline. If something goes wrong, don't expect them to stand behind their work or take care of their customers.
